World 4-1
- Star Coin 1 Immediately after launch, grab the penguin suit and freeze the piranha plant at the bottom. Use the ice block to reach the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 After the flag you have to freeze a water opponent with an Ice Flower or the Penguin Suit. This serves you again for a short time as a platform, so that you can reach the coin.
- Star Coin 3 Just before the target are two opponents who swim in front of a pipe, coming from the air. Freeze both opponents and skip the pipe. At the top you will find the last coin.
- Pretty much in the middle of the level you can find a giant sea urchin and a small one on the left and on the right. Freeze these two once and then let them sink to the ground. So they clear the way to the tube and you can get three more lives.
World 4-2
- Star Coin 1 At the beginning of the level, the coin hovers above a barrel.
- Star Coin 2 After the flag, you can collect a star and quickly make your way back. Hang on the cliff to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 3 Not far from the second coin you will find the last one. Stand on the block and fall down. Then hang along the cliff and grab the last coin.
World 4-3
- Star Coin 1 Right at the beginning, the coin floats in the air. Jump on the? block to reach them.
- Star Coin 2 Under the Koopa Troopa you will find a star. Collect it and run forward. Do you activate it? Switch and glide over the water. (running fast and duck | Penguin Suit needed). With the big sea urchin you will find the coin.
- Star Coin 3 After the flag you will find a mini-Pliz in the? block a little further to the right. Collect it and run back to the small tube. There you will find the last coin.
World 4-Tower
- Star Coin 1 After the first tube, you have to jump on a block to get high enough and reach the coin.
- Star Coin 2 Right under the first flag is a secret corridor where the second coin hovers in.
- Star Coin 3 Just before the boss door you have to work slowly up with the blocks. You can reach the coin if there are only two blocks left on the tracks.
- Secret Exit Shortly before the boss door, many blocks fall down. Wait until the rear has landed and then quickly jump on him. Continue on the left and you will find a pipe in the wall that will take you to the secret exit.
World 4-4
- Star Coin 1 After the first flag you will find a P Switch. Activate it and it makes blue coins appear. Follow them down to the pipe. Here you get a Penguin Suit and freeze the Cheep-Cheep. Use it again as a platform to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 2 floats between two green tubes.
- Star Coin 3 Just before the outlet pipe, is a block in the water. Just swim through and you discover the last coin.
- Extra Under three wooden blocks you will find a yellow tube. Swim and use it. In this new area you will find a huge fish that wants to eat you. Either you defeat him with fireballs or the star, which is in a? block. If he is defeated, you will definitely get three 1-up mushrooms.
World 4-Ghost House
- Star Coin 1 Right at the beginning you have to stand on the sixth block. This one goes down and releases the first coin.
- Star Coin 2: Before you take the door to the right exit, you will find a secret path on the right in the wall that leads you to the second coin.
- Star Coin 3 If you have chosen the door to the secret exit, you must stay on the block that is under the Star Coin. This is how you get within reach.
- Secret Exit Search the block over which a? block hovers. Stay on it until it is at the bottom. The door leads you to the next room. Just go all the way to the right. The door on the right leads you to the exit.
World 4-5
- Star Coin 1 Get a Yoshi and jump on the palm trees. On the right you can reach the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 Just before the flag, you grab the Lakitu from its cloud using Yoshi. Now you can float on this one. Follow the coins up and you will find the second Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 After the flag you will find a hill with a single palm tree. Grab a cloud of Lakitu again and fly up there. Use the pipe to get into a new area. Using Lakitu, collect all coins and the Star Coin.
World 4-Castle
- Star Coin 1 Find a turning grid and strike against this. If you are on the other side of the grid, go further to the right, you will see the Star Coin. This is the only way you can collect them.
- Star Coin 2 Shortly afterwards you will find the second Star Coin on the floor.
- Star Coin 3 Just outside the boss door is a pipe below. Go inside and grab the last coin.
World 4-Airship
- Star Coin 1 Right at the beginning you can bag the first coin under a fire jet.
- Star Coin 2 Among some boxes is a tube. Expose them using tamping attacks and then use them. There you will find the second coin.
- Star Coin 3 Shortly before the boss‘ door are many Bob-ombs. Let one explode right in front of the box to get to the Star Coin.
