World 3-1
- Star Coin 1 Penguin Suit is needed! Run from the start and slide over the ice. With enough speed, you break the wooden blocks and can reach the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 At the end of the first section you will find the second Star Coin at the bottom right. Shoot an ice ball at the Piranha Plant to have a platform under the coin. With something skillful, you can also reach the coin with the help of the Wall Jump.
- Star Coin 3 Penguin Suit is needed! In the second section of the level, you have to slide down the track. In the end, wooden blocks come back, which you destroy by your speed. The tube leads you into a bonus area. Here you wait for a penguin and freeze him. Now jump on him quickly and duck. You get to the Star Coin so quickly and can jump in time.
World 3-2
- Star Coin 1 Pretty much at the beginning of the level, the first coin floats high in the air. Jump on a bullet willi to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 2 Immediately after the checkpoint flag you will find a pipe that is fired at by many Willi cannons. Use this and you get into a new area. Here you have to fight your way up bit by bit. It is best to freeze the Kugel-Willis and then jump one further up. It is also possible to reach the coin with the help of the Wall Jump, but you have to use a few ball Willis as a trampoline beforehand.
- Star Coin 3 The last coin is not far from the yellow tube you just came from. Run on the top platforms and use a bullet willi to extend your jump to the coin.
- Extra After the checkpoint flag, you can see two platforms above, each with a? block floating. Climb to this platform with the help of Kugel-Willis and you will find a Yoshi in the right block.
World 3-3
- Star Coin 1 In the first section you see different sized ice platforms. In the long stretch of water they swim through a wall. This is where the first Star Coin hides.
- Star Coin 2 Behind the checkpoint flag lurks an Ice-Bros. It is best to freeze it in order to get to the Star Coin more easily.
- Star Coin 3 In the last area you grab the barrel right at the beginning. With this you run now until the end of the section. Make sure it is not destroyed by the Ice-Bros. Finally, you throw the barrel directly into the abyss to Star Coin. Tip: Run without a barrel and defeat the Ice-Bros.
- There is still a secret area right after the second Star Coin. Jump against the wall to find a green pipe. Here are a lot of coins and a POW block. Collect them all!
World 3-Ghost House
- Star Coin 1 Right at the beginning of the level, you turn around and find the first Star Coin in the wall.
- Star Coin 2 In the second area, with the rods, you will find the second Star Coin on the left in the wall.
- Star Coin 3 For this Star Coin you have to choose the secret exit (see below). Stay in the area that comes directly after the door to the right. When the? block appears, the last Star Coin is in the wall.
- Secret Exit You get to a room during the level where you have to cling to a pole on the ceiling. Hang ahead and drop onto the platform. Look down, there’s a cuboid. Jump right on this one and a door appears. There is an elevator in the secret area that will slowly take you to the end of the level. But be careful not to be defeated by the spirits first.
World 3-Tower
- Star Coin 1 After the two rotating sculptures, you can see a small corner at the top right jutting into the field. With a little bit of a start, you can reach this area and use the hidden door. Behind this is another sculpture with which you can reach the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 Shortly before the end, this Star Coin can only be found. However, it is quite tricky to get hold of them. You must not destroy the huge iron balls. So that this does not happen, you have to pick up the POW block and jump over the iron balls again and again so that the block does not fall down. Only in this way can the blocks that block the way to the coin be destroyed.
- Star Coin 3 Shortly thereafter also comes the last Star Coin. Jump to the wall using the last S-figure and perform a Wall Jump.
World 3-4
- Star Coin 1 The first coin floats directly above the Fire Bro. It is best to freeze it with an ice ball.
- Star Coin 2 Just before the checkpoint flag is a large ice block. Jump on this one and duck when it hits the wall. Jump up under the platform and you’ll find the second Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 The last Star Coin is among the many ice cubes racing towards you. Skip them all and get the coin at the end.
- The secret exit can be found right at the end of the level and leads you to World 3-5. For the “right” output, you must first activate the red switch so that all red blocks appear. Only then will you manage to get into the red tube, which will take you to the right exit.
World 3-5
- Star Coin 1: Just before the Piranha Plants appears, you will find the first Star Coin floating on the right in the air. It is easier if you collect them with the Propeller Suit or Propeller Block.
- Star Coin 2 Red switch must be activated! (finish World 3-5) At the end of the first section you can now use the red tube, it is hidden a bit in the clouds. Right at the beginning of the new area you will find the Star Coin on the right above the ice blocks.
- Star Coin 3 Red switch must be activated! (end to World 3-5) Shortly before the end of the section comes a Koopa Troopa chain. Through the pit in their chain you can get the Star Coin.
- Secret Exit Red switch must be activated! (finish World 3-5) Go to the red tube at the end of the first section. Follow the pink mushroom until the end. Again, you will encounter a tube that will take you to the flag.
World 3-Castle
- Star Coin 1 episode of the ice block chain. Use the Lemmy Koopa Troopa balls to get to the top platform and thus to the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 Just before the checkpoint flag you can freely blow the way to the coin with the Bob-ombs on the left.
- Star Coin 3 In the second ice block chain, the third Star Coin floats between a few donut blocks. To reach them, it is best to jump off before the ice blocks circle the donut blocks. If you have the coin, wait until you can jump on the “train” again.
- Just outside the door to Lemmy Koopa Troopa you can use the green tube and get a mushroom/penguin suit.
