World 6-1
- Star Coin 1 Spring at the beginning on a Bullet Bill to reach the Spike. Jump on his head too, so you get high enough for the coin. It is a little easier if you freeze both opponents beforehand.
- Star Coin 2 Just behind the checkpoint flag are two platforms moving upstairs. In between, you can get the second coin.
- Star Coin 3 The last coin is close to the target. To reach them, you must first have Bullet Bills in tow. Jump to the first platform and then to the Bullet Bill, which flies a little higher. After that, you can reach the coin with a Wall Jump. Much easier is the whole game with a Propeller Suit.
- Extra In the second Star Coin you can go up with one platform. Jump to the left and then further to the left to the pipe. In the bonus section you will find many blue coins just waiting to be collected. To make it faster, you throw an ice block that collects all the coins in the row for you.
World 6-2
- Star Coin 1 Just before the first flag, the first coin is hidden. Grab a Stachi-Koopa shell and throw it at the wooden block. After that, slip through the pit to fetch the coin.
- Star Coin 2 Over the tube floats another Star Coin. It is best to freeze the Piranha Plant to reach it. But you can also get a bat from further to the right. Jump up so she follows you a little more horizontally and go back to the pipe. Now you can use the Flattermann as a springboard.
- Star Coin 3 After the flag are two big wheels. Wait a little at the second pipe and you can find a pipe. This leads you to the last Star Coin. Press on the P Switch so that from the blocks, coins will be.
World 6-3
- Star Coin 1 To reach the Star Coin, you must first destroy the Piranha Plant. You either do this with a Fire Flower or you throw a Buzzy Beetle at him. Then use the flower pot as a platform to be high enough for a Wall Jump.
- Star Coin 2: Also in the second Star Coin you should kill the Piranha Plant before. Once this is done, you can easily either swim to the coin or jump.
- Star Coin 3 After the checkpoint flag you will find a room with many piranha plants. Destroy everyone and then jump right up against the wooden blocks. This lets you get to the Star Coin with several wall jumps.

World 6-4
- Star Coin 1 When you get Yoshi, you will soon find the Star Coin floating in the air. Either use the Propeller Suit or jump from Yoshi high up to reach them.
- Star Coin 2 Immediately after the flag you have to jump into the pit with Yoshi and/or the Propeller Suit and try to reach the pipe on the right. In the underground you activate the POW block so that the Star Coin falls from the ceiling.
- Star Coin 3 again requires the Propeller Suit and/or Yoshi. Before you find the exit through the pipe, many platforms that work on the principle of a scale can come back. Right at the beginning, you have to jump from Yoshi or take to the skies to reach the upper secret passage. There is also the last Star Coin.

World 6-Tower
- Star Coin 1 On your way up, you have to keep a close eye on the left wall. With a small indentation, the first Star Coin is located in a secret pit. To find the pit, you just have to jump from the platform to the left against the wall.
- Star Coin 2 The second coin is located right after the checkpoint flag. Through a Wall Jump you can reach them well. But collect them before you touch the flag, otherwise you will have to collect them again every time you have lost a life.
- Star Coin 3 Shortly before the boss door is the last Star Coin. Choose the right exit so you don’t jump past it.
- Extra to the left of the boss door you can find a hidden pipe. Jump to the top with the Wall Jump. There are a few coins in the secret room.
World 6-5
- Star Coin 1 Be the first to turn off the porcu buffer with a fireball. After that, you can jump into the pit at low water levels and get the coin. With a Wall Jump you can easily get out.
- Star Coin 2 Wait again for a low water level for the second coin. It is best to turn off the porcu buffer again.
- Star Coin 3 Find the bean vine for the secret exit. Up there, you pick up the Propeller Block and go a little further. Under the Star Coin you must first stop the floating block and then jump up. Now you can easily reach the Star Coin.
- Secret Exit At the four? blocks in the water is yet another secret block. It is located halfway between the second and third blocks. Jump against him and a bean tendon appears. Climb up and then run to the finish.
World 6-6
- Star Coin 1 A little further in the cave you will find a POW block on a platform. Activate it and the Star Coin falls on your raft.
- Star Coin 2 After the checkpoint flag you will find a trampoline. Collect it and take it to the raft. A short time later you see a Star Coin high up. You can now easily reach them with the trampoline.
- Star Coin 3 If you have collected the Propeller Block, you can easily reach the last Star Coin. Turn into the air and run the short piece back to the coin at the top
- Secret Exit At the fire brothers you will find a red pipe. If you used it, you are now in a dark room. With the light block it gets little brighter. Walk carefully through the cave, making sure you are not caught by the bats. At the end comes a pipe that leads you to the flag.
World 6-Castle
- Star Coin 1 At the end of the swinging platforms are six wooden blocks that lead you to the Dry Bones. Continue right up there to Star Coin. It is easier if you freeze a dry bones and then throw it forward.
- Star Coin 2 Just before the checkpoint flag, a Star Coin is high up in the air. Jump on the two blocks to reach them.
- Star Coin 3 At the end of the swinging platform, with the spiked balls floating the coin up in the air. Jump off at the highest point of the platform to catch it.
World 6-Airship
- Star Coin 1 Just crush the wooden boxes to reach the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 Just before the checkpoint flag, you have to destroy the boxes that cover the pipe. Use it to get to the second Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 The last Star Coin is again blocked by wooden boxes. Just destroy and collect.
