World 2-1
- Star Coin 1 Directly under a? block you see the first coin. To get to her, you have to get on the sandblast. Further on the right you can get a 1-Up mushroom in the wooden block with the help of the tank.
- Star Coin 2 After the flag, you can find the second coin under a Piranha Plant. Use the sandblast again and go left into the gap.
- Star Coin 3 The last coin is close to the target. Jump to the Koopa Paratroopa and grab the Koopa Shell. Go on the sandblast that is in front of the coin, holding the Koopa shell (1). Now throw it from the left edge of the sandblast onto the coin. Of course, it is easier with a Propeller Suit.
World 2-2
- Star Coin 1 The first coin is a little hidden. Go up to the flag and then jump into the sand strudel that pulls you down. In the new area you can collect a few coins before you reach the coin with the tube. Activate the P Switch and jump to the coin using the platforms. You may have to defeat the opponents first. The Propeller Suit is also helpful.
- Star Coin 2 Again, the coin is hidden. Pick up the barrel that comes after the flag and go to the four wooden blocks. Throw it against the front block to make a climbing plant appear. In heaven, you can then reach the next Star Coin using the POW block.
- Star Coin 3 For this Star Coin you need a Mini Mushroom. You can find it in a pipe to the left of the large platform (see picture). Once you have got the Mini Mushroom, you can enter the small pipe on the right. As a dwarf, you can walk over water. To get to the star, you just have to follow the coins and make a Wall Jump to get higher.
World 2-3
- Star Coin 1 Behind a platform pyramid you will find a star on the right. Collect it and move on. At the second pyramid on the left again a star and the first Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 Behind the flag you can then find the second coin. Just move to the right until you can get down.
- Star Coin 3 Just before the exit, two Piranha Plants hang on the ceiling. Jump into the column and make a Wall Jump to get up over the plants. Continue running until you reach the last coin.
- Extra At the first pyramid you can find a yellow tube at the top left. If you activate the P Switch in this area, all enemies are defeated at once and you get a life.
World 2-Tower
- Star Coin 1 Shortly before the door that leads you into a new area, you can find the first coin. To do this, climb the grid to the left and jump down against the wall to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 2 At the flag is a secret area at the bottom right in the wall. Just run into the wall and get the second coin.
- Star Coin 3 The last Star Coin is at the Dry Bones who are on the “Stairs”. Climb the grid to the right and wait until more grids appear to the coin. Jump to these and get them.
World 2-4
- Star Coin 1 The first coin is in heaven. Go to the raised block at the pipe and jump a little. In the middle is the climbing plant. To get to the coin, you have to activate all blocks beforehand.
- Star Coin 2 Propeller Suit Needed! Just behind the flag is a pipe that leads you to the second coin. Jump towards the coin and then use the Propeller Suit.
- Star Coin 3 Propeller Suit Needed! Shortly after the second coin comes an abyss. With a lot of momentum and tailwind you have to jump far to the right. The last boost is given to you by the Propeller Suit.
- Secret Exit Propeller Suit Needed! After the third coin, you see a sign with an arrow. Start from there platform at the top left and jump so that you have finished the triple jump at the end of the next platform. In the air you use the Propeller Suit to make it to the pipe. Make sure you have a tailwind. You may need to use Wall Jump on the wall.
World 2-5
- Star Coin 1 After receiving Yoshi comes a Lakitu. Jump on the palm tree and grab it from its cloud with Yoshi. With this you fly to the upper left, at the palm tree, into the cloud to the first coin.
- Star Coin 2 In the quicksand are yellow blocks on the right with a piranha plant. Eat the plant and go down the blocks to the right. There you grab the glow block and get the Star Coin on top.
- Star Coin 3 Shortly before the goal, you can still get a Lakitu cloud. Fly far up with her. Directly behind the many pokeys is the coin.

- Star Coin 1 Behind the first? block, the coin floats in the air. It is best to use the Propeller Suit to reach them.
- Star Coin 2 With the many wooden blocks is a pipe. Climb the blocks and use the pipe. Above you will find Propeller Blocks with which you can also fly and reach the coin if necessary.
- Star Coin 3 The last coin is back in the air. After collecting all the blue coins, you can easily reach them with the Propeller Suit.
- Secret Exit Propeller Suit Needed! At the end of the stretch of the pink block, just before the finish, there is another pipe far up. Jump into the air and use the Propeller Suit to get high enough to reach the pipe. It is best to press up all the time so that you get better into the pipe.
World 2-Castle
- Star Coin 1 There are two options for this Star Coin. a If you have a propeller Anzu, you can quickly run forward at the beginning and get to the coin with the Propeller Suit up. b Go to the end of the section and use the middle path.
- Star Coin 2 If you have taken the top way, you will find the next Star Coin over two wooden blocks. Just destroy the blocks and then use the Wall Jump.To get further, you have to take the lower path.
- Star Coin 3 Activate the P Switch and quickly run over the wooden blocks to the last Star Coin.To get further, you have to take the middle way.
