Find all six gems in 5F — RIP Suites. The colours are white, red, blue, green, purple and yellow. Gem collection is separate from the ending money rank; completing all seventeen floor sets unlocks Suction Shot Type-C.
Required tools and return visits
The red and yellow gems require Gooigi to remove the heavy sofa blocking the first rooms.
White gem — Room 508 balcony
Look through the telescope and remain there until a crystal ghost interrupts. Defeat it to collect the white gem.
Red gem — Room 501 balcony
Use both characters’ plungers to remove the sofa blocking the early rooms. Restore the missing doors with Dark-Light. In Peach’s room, reveal the balcony door, go outside and follow the right ledge to the gargoyle holding the gem.
Blue gem — Laundry Room
Remove the vending machine right of the elevator with Suction Shot. Enter the laundry room behind it and pull off the high wall panel containing the blue gem.
Green gem — Corridor between 505 and 506
Vacuum the metal ball from one display statue and fire it at the glass statue opposite. Collect the green gem from the fragments.
Purple gem — Room 507 bathroom
Remove the hanging cloth and enter the opening behind the bath. Clear the furniture from the crawlspace and continue right to the purple gem.
Yellow gem — Room 502 bathroom
Clear the trolley from Mario’s bathroom. Send Gooigi down the drain, remove the boards covering the valve and turn it to restore the water. Switch to Luigi and turn the bath taps. Pull out the floating yellow case with the vacuum and break it using Suction Shot.
Six-gem check
Open the floor collection screen and check all six colour slots. A missing colour identifies the exact entry to revisit above. Gem ghosts must be fully captured before their gem is awarded.
