In our Donkey Kong Bananza complete solution to the Freezer Layer we show you all the secrets of the icy sub-levels SL500 to SL503. In this large layer, you will find snowy mountains, the crumbling bridge, the cooling caverns, the Schokolava Lake, the gallop dairy and finally the huge Cool Tower.
Along the way, you’ll also learn the Zebra Bananza, which allows Donkey Kong to sprint at tremendous speed across brittle paths and dangerous surfaces. We help you with all challenges, hidden rooms and boss fights and show you the locations of all 87 Banandium Gems and 72 fossils.
Some banandium gems can only be obtained later or even after the main story has been completed. With our checklist you can track your progress directly while playing and make up for missing collectibles.

- Fossils: 72 / 72
- Total: 159 / 159
The Freezer layer thus has most of the Banandium sites of a single layer. Especially easy to miss are the secret entrances between SL500, SL501 and SL502, the jewels on the roof of the refrigerator caverns, as well as the 14 postgame jewels of the Zebra Bananza sample.
For the fossils, you should pay particular attention to the roof of the cooling caverns. There are both a rare preserved Buzzy Beetle and the only T. rex fossil of the entire layer.
