Saving Green Star and Toad
March to the right, finish a Goomba and talk to the Toad. Continue to the big trees and prepare for huge mega-goombas that you will have to fight against. Defeating them isn’t as hard as it looks: if you get the timing right, you can do them in one move with two double and/or big jump/hammer attacks. If you do not manage this, then you have to be prepared for a fierce counterattack, which itself blocked over 15 force points damage.
Continue to the right and jump to the back of the platform. Follow the path to the left, get another Mega Goomba out of the way and grab the coins. Then break the two stone blocks and go backwards. In the following area, destroy all blocks to your right and eliminate the Goomba. You have to color one of the blocks beforehand so that you can also break it and then remove the white spot on the floor.
If you have also plundered the question mark block, then you have two ways available. Go right first, take care of the two mega-goombas and jump over the question mark blocks to the white wall, which turns out to be a giant coin. Return and follow the path backwards.
Jump to the platform and move to the right until the Goomba is enchanted. Wait until he marches all the way to the right, walk up to him and hop on the platform among you. Fight the Goomba and then destroy the Thwomp further forward. Pull on the white pole, return to the platform from before and now run over the flat path.
Jump back in the following area and destroy the block on which Professor Toad sits. Look at the chain, collect the coins to your right and grab the green star to your left. The color star opens your way to the Sacred Forest. However, you can not do much in this one yet, so you should visit the Château Chanterelle again and visit the professor who is behind his house. You will receive the Excavation Site Permit from him, with which you can finally explore the Marmalade Valley.Sacred ForestMarmalade Valley
