Wait until the train arrives and talk to all the Toads you can reach on foot. Runs to the right and loots a question mark block in between. Go first to the front right corner, where you encounter another Toad and a second block of question marks, and then march over the tracks until you reach the next area. Talk to the Toad there and return to the station.
Strike on the development block and march again to the right. Count halfway with three rolling tree trunks or enemy groups, which you have to jump over early. If you are hit even once, then the unfolding block loses its effect and you have to hit it again. If you have made it, then hammer against the green container and save. Jump all the way up and go through the exit to your right.
Keep running until you see a gap in the fence. Go through and march back to the left until you stand next to the great stone. Press the Cut button, remove the rectangle above you and place the Megaphone card (Toad Trainworks) inside. Go left and wait until death appears with the Draisine. Jump on them and hit the lever with the hammer. Then hop on the train and cross the first wagon by removing the tape on the right door and freeing the first red savior toad.
Enter the second wagon, talk to the next red savior toad and stand directly to the left of the blue door. Wait until a Shy Guy looks through the window, and walks past the door as soon as he disappears. For the second door, you have to repeat the game, except that the following Shy Guy looks through the window three times and then four times before you can safely march past him.
The Shy Guy behind the third door is not quite so stupid, which is why you just open the door and challenge him to fight. He is accompanied by a few Boomerang brothers and a Sombrero Guy, with the latter already after two moves the escape. In the first move, he uses a spell that significantly increases the attacks of his cronies, and in the second he heals them. Therefore, on your first two moves, focus on eliminating one or two enemies instead of injuring them all.Beware of the Boomerang Brothers attacks and heal yourself if your energy slips below 50 force points.
After the fight, keep hitting the crumpled paper with your hammer until a red savior toad comes out. He will then hang himself on the next best window, whereupon you will transport him outside with another blow. Leave the wagon, enter the third and eliminate the fuzzies with a hammer stroke each. Further back you come across a shaky lettercase, which you can not open yet.
Go into the fourth wagon and smash all the boxes. Plates the Shunned Guy, marches on to the right and crosses the fifth wagon with the barrels. The sixth wagon is locked, so you go forward to the projection and creep on the edge to the other side. In the last wagon you come across several creatures that are exceptionally talkative instead of aggressive. You can also recruit two more Rescue Squads here and behind the door to your right.
Return to the fourth wagon, stand in front of the right door and move forward on the lead. Sneaks to the center of the wagon, presses the cut button and removes half the wagon. Jump to the flag and continue to the left. Jump over the wrenches that throw the moles at you and then attack them. Although opponents literally hold a lid over their head, it doesn’t matter if they use jump or hammer cards.
Make sure all four moles are defeated and march to the next wagon to your left. There is a lonely Sombrero Guy waiting for you, who is very easy to defeat without escort protection. Run past the deployment block and free the savior toad by removing the tape. Go back to the block, hit it and spur right until you reach the fifth wagon with the red barrels. Hit the fourth from the left and march up the slope.
Jump into the pit and take care of the horde of snifits, which are also supported by a Sombrero Guy. Once again: The Sombrero Guy will strengthen all snifits in the first move and heal in the second, which is why you decimate your opponents with two or three hammer cards piece by piece. As a reward, free four red rescue squads, get a key and then color the door to your left and remove the tape on the door to your right.
Go back to the third wagon and open the wiggling lettercase with the key, whereupon a whopping 30 red Rescue Squad come out. Return to the ramp, march up again and pass the pit. Take care of the Sombrero Guy and then hit the spike with your hammer, whereupon you free a rescuer toad.
Save and go to the coal wagon. There, three coal guys attack you, which you should do similar to their colleagues in the Toad Trainworks. However, because they are multi-layered guys, you should bet on jump or jump cards after the coal has fizzled out.
Boss Fight: Larry Koopa clan clan clan
Save again and go all the way to the right, where with Larry one of the heaviest opponents of the game awaits you. At first, everything looks very simple, because Larry gets damage even in small hammer attacks. At the beginning of his turn, he jumps back on the chimney, which in turn is fed by Shy Guys with energy-giving hearts. In addition, Larry calls in a few of his minions, including regular Shy Guys, Shy Guys with Pieks helmets, Parakoopas, and unfortunately Coal Guys.
You get help from a Toad who wants to take care of the heart problem. The problem, however, is that he needs three moves for this. Even worse, if at the end of a turn even one of Larry’s minions survives, he will overrun the Toad and take a step back.
Long story short: You absolutely have to eliminate all minions within one round, otherwise you will not get anywhere. Because this is not yet mean enough, the use of a POW card does not help you at all, because you also disable your Toad with it. Therefore, in case of doubt, use a things card. There is no other place in the game where you need it so much and often as here. Say: Even if you sacrifice a thing card for all three rounds, it is worth the expense. However, you should limit yourself to things copies. If you sell an original, then it may be that you miss this at a later time and you have to buy it again from the dealer in Port Prisma.
Once the Toad has reached its goal, the rest will limit the fight to you and Larry. He will now strike the chimney before each of your moves and block your view with a cloud of smoke. This in turn ensures that you can only hurt Larry with comprehensive attacks.
Fortunately, as in any boss fight, there is a cheap trick: Use the Cork map from Strudelinsel to clog the chimney. After that, you can play to your full potential and give Larry acid with all kinds of attacks. You will receive the large orange star at the end and should finally return to the Sunset Express. March to the left and locate one of the colorful doors behind which hides a card-giving minigame.
