Château Chanterelle
First, return to Château Chanterelle and visit the professor (who you previously found at Mondo Woods) who is behind his house. You will receive the Excavation Site Permit from him, with which you can finally explore the Marmalade Valley.Mondo Woods
Talk to the first three toads and then stand on the wooden platform at the front right, which turns out to be an elevator. Drive down and hit the wooden wall with the hammer to get to the map behind it.
Run across the wooden path to your right until you are stopped by a Toad. Then follow the way back, hit the hammer against the brittle spot in the middle and talk to the Toad on the far left. Return to the front and take the elevator up.
Goes through the pit in the wall and again follows the trail to the rear. There you meet a Dry Bones opponent, who you can fight and defeat, but whose body rises after a few seconds. You can prevent this if you kill him with a wooden wall. Stand behind such a wall and beat against it as soon as the Dry Bones is in front of it.
From time to time, the Dry Bones are accompanied by Gratterichs. These are thieving mice that steal a card on the first move and disappear with it never again in the second. So you have to flatten it beforehand if you want to keep your card.
If you have taken care of the first Dry Bones, then jump down and do both his colleague on your right and on your left. Jump to the rear platform where the scaffolding has crashed and grab the contents of the two question mark blocks to your right. Then turn around, run to the left as far as possible and hit the front wall. Stand behind the wooden wall to your left and flatten the next Dry Bones with her. Talk to the Toad and grab the POW block in the question mark block to your right before entering the next area.
Follow the path to your right and go up with the first elevator that leads you to a question mark block. Drive right back down, follow the path again and talk to every Toad you encounter. Go to the next area and stand on the wooden platform to your right. Try to color the wall while driving, but do not jump (!) against the question mark block. Instead, hop on the oblique platform to your right and use the Save Block.
Talk to the Toad, move forward and jump to the platform to your left. Drop back and talk to another Toad who hides behind the tarp to your right and gives you a 1-up mushroom card. Then approach the Dry Bones to your left and jump down another platform as he turns away from you. Hide behind one of the wooden walls and flatten the Dry Bones near you.
March into the Mysteries to your right where you will find a Heart and then take care of the Bone Goomba to your left. Go back up, stand on the wooden platform again and jump against the question mark block this time. Hop down immediately, grab the map and drive back to the Save Block again via platform.
Go through the door and take care of the Bone Goomba further back. Follow the path to your right until you are pursued and run swiftly forward and to the left to escape the rolling danger. Enter the area to your left, cross the elevator platform and color the crate. Destroy them immediately to unlock a shortcut.
Take the elevator up, save, take a few steps back and color the wall to your right. Strike against it with the hammer and enter the secret passage. There you come across one of the colorful doors, which you have to color from above and down the same. Return to the left, color the crate further back and destroy it too. Then free the imprisoned Toad to your left by hitting the brittle wall three times with the hammer. Then you get a bone that you squeeze out.
Shortly afterwards you will be followed again, which is why you quickly run to the left. Once you reach the next level, you skip to the right and hit the lowest point with the hammer on the small platform. Run back to the left and stand directly behind the small ramp. Wait until the black monster has jumped over you and go through the big pit in the wall behind which the yellow star awaits you. We continue at the Kiwano Temple.Kiwano Temple
