After completing the main story, you can re-enter the play and search for the hidden Ninja Theets.
Locations of the Sparkle Gems
In The Dark School & the Twisted Fist you can find a total of 5 Sparkle Gems. Four of them are en route to the dark combat school, while you will automatically receive the final crystal for victory over the Dark Kung Fu Master.
The first Sparkle Gem and the Ribbon are already a few steps after the start. Therefore, do not immediately turn right to the main road. The second crystal is waiting in a secret pose room and for the fourth you have to take an extra path over the poles after a fight.
| # | Location |
|---|---|
| 1 | Runs directly after the start not to the right, but to the top or in the rear part of the area. Jump over the small rocky outcrops to the raised platform. On the highest protrusion lies the first Sparkle Gem. |
| 2 | Having locked Princess Peach between several large boulders for the first time, you must defeat all enemies and destroy the stones. After that, look for a sparkling pose spot on the dark stone floor to the right of the battlefield. Poses there and climbs up in the secret room over horizontal and vertical swivel rods. On the highest platform you will find the second Sparkle Gem. |
| 3 | Leave the secret room and follow the path. Shortly afterwards, more boulders fall on the platforms. Jump on the raised stone steps and stay on the left. On the upper left protrusion next to a large rock lies the third Sparkle Gem. |
| 4 | Later you reach a gorge with several high rods. Defeat all five opponents on the poles. After the dark fog has dissolved, an additional row of rods appears on the right. Jump over the pole with the big 10 coin all the way up. On the highest pole hovers the fourth Sparkle Gem. |
| 5 | Enter the Dark School and defeat the Dark Kung Fu Master and his two doubles. Counter their attacks at the right moment, throw the energy balls back and perform the final kick together with the Kung Fu Sparkla. For the victory you will receive the fifth Sparkle Gem. |
Location of the ribbon
You can get the multi-colored Kung Fu Ribbon right at the beginning of the play.
Jump from the start to the raised platform, where you will also find the first Sparkle Gem. A large boulder, under which the ribboner is clamped, lies on an adjacent projection.
Destroy the rock with several kung fu kicks. Once the ribbon is freed, it hands you the multi-colored kung fu ribbon for Stella.
| Rewards | Location | Task |
|---|---|---|
| Multicolored Kung-Fu-Ribbon | Increased platform immediately after launch | Jump onto the platform at the first Sparkle Gem and destroy the large boulder above the ribboner. |
Get rid of ribbons immediately
The main path leads to the right from the start and the platform with the ribboner is slightly above it.
Get the ribbon best immediately. Once you have reached the area with the falling boulder, you can no longer return to the beginning without a restart.
The Road to Dark School
Princess Peach begins the play in her Kung Fu transformation. Stella feels an ominous force from the combat school at the end of the mountain path.
The Kung Fu Sparkla is apparently held captive by the Sauertruppe. Before you can reach it, you must overcome several rock barriers and fight your way through numerous enemy groups.
Collecting the first Sparkle Gem
Jump to the small platforms behind or above Princess Peach after launch. The first Sparkle Gem is located on a high ledge and is easily overlooked from the direct main path.
Remains on top level after collection. From there you can jump to the platform with the big boulder and the ribboner.
| Task | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Finding the First Sparkle Gem | Jump up from the start to the highest small rocky outcrop. |
| Reaching ribbons | Switch from crystal to neighboring platform with the large boulder. |
| Return to the main road | Jump back to the lower level and follow the red stairs to the right. |
Destroying large boulders
Along the way, several large rocks block the passage. Use Kung Fu Princess Peach’s attacks and kick the stones repeatedly.
Smaller rocks break immediately. For the particularly large chunks you have to land several hits.
Watch out for coins, hearts and additional platforms behind destroyed rocks. Several collectible objects are not directly on the main path.
The attack of the Sauertruppe
After the red stairs you reach a larger combat area. Several boulders fall to the ground around Princess Peach and block all exits.
At the same time, ordinary kung fu party members and opponents armed with long staffs attack.
Ordinary Kung Fu opponents
Ordinary party members jump towards Princess Peach and attack from a short distance. Wait for their attack and then counter with a quick kick.
If several enemies are next to each other, you can hit them by an attack from the side one after the other.
Defeating staff fighters
The enemies with the long rods block ordinary frontal attacks. If you attack continuously, Princess Peach’s kicks bounce off the weapon ineffectively.
Wait until the staff lights up and the opponent prepares his attack. Step against the weapon at the right moment. As a result, the rogue loses his balance and is open for a subsequent attack.
| Opposing action | Reaction |
|---|---|
| The rod is held in front of the body | Don’t attack yet. The opponent blocks Princess Peach’s kick. |
| The rod begins to shine | Press the attack button and counter the upcoming strike. |
| Opponents lose balance | Immediately attack again and throw him back. |
| Multiple staff fighters | Lure an opponent away from the group and fight them one by one. |
Opening the stone barrier
After defeating all enemies, the large rocks around the battlefield remain.
Destroy the chunks with Kung-Fu-Peachs kicks. Then check the floor on the right side before leaving the area. There is the pose location for the second Sparkle Gem.
Hidden pose location
In The Dark School & the Twisted Fist, there is a sparkling pose spot. It appears after the first major attack of the Sauertruppe.
| Location | Task | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| On the dark stone floor to the right next to the first large combat surface | Posed and climbed in the secret room over horizontal and vertical swivel rods. | Second Sparkle Gem |
Entering a Secret Room
Place Princess Peach on the sparkling stars and press ZL or ZR.
In the secret room there are several rods which are arranged horizontally or vertically. Jump to the first pole and let Princess Peach circle it.
Press the jump button as soon as it swings in the direction of the next platform or rod.
Use horizontal bars
On the horizontal bars, Princess Peach turns laterally. Builds up some momentum and does not jump until it points up and towards the next stopping point.
If you jump too early, the altitude may not be enough. If you fall down, you can start the ascension again.
Climbing up at the vertical rods
In the case of the vertical bars you have to change several times between the left and right sides.
Jump from one pole to the next as soon as Princess Peach reaches the highest point of her rotation. On the top platform is the second Sparkle Gem.
| Rod | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Horizontal bar | Build momentum and jump towards the higher platform. |
| Vertical rod | Jumps up alternately between the two sides. |
| Moving rod | Wait until she is on a line with the next destination. |
| Princess Peach falls down | Return to the first stopping point and try the ascent again. |
Leave the secret room after collecting via the luminous pose location.
Rock platforms and third Sparkle Gem
Behind the first combat area, the mountain path becomes narrower. Several boulders fall from above and form new platforms.
Watch the shadows and wait until the stones have landed completely. Do not jump under a falling rock, otherwise Princess Peach will be pushed back.
Staff fighters on the platform
On one of the platforms, another opponent is waiting with a long staff. The space here is much narrower than in the previous dispute.
Don’t stay on the sidelines. Wait in the middle until the enemy reaches for attack, and counter as soon as his weapon lights up.
Jump up to the left
After the first boulder has fallen, you can jump up several stone steps.
The main road leads to the right. For the third Sparkle Gem you have to move to the left on the upper platforms instead.
Next to a large rock, the crystal lies on a small protrusion.
| Tip | Declaration |
|---|---|
| Allow rocks to land completely | Jump to the platform only when the chunk no longer wobbles. |
| Upper level search | The third Sparkle Gem is to the left of the main road. |
| Avoid the edge of the platform | A hit from the staff fighter can hurl Princess Peach into the abyss. |
| Return to the Crystal | Jump back to the middle platform and follow the path to the right. |
Fight in the Stabn Gorge
Along the way, Princess Peach reaches a wide gorge. Several members of the Sauertruppe wait on high poles and platforms.
In total, you have to defeat five opponents. Use the rods to switch between the individual positions.
Hit opponents with spin attacks
Jump on a pole and let Princess Peach circle on it. If an enemy is nearby, the shooting attack hits him automatically.
Alternatively, you can jump off and hit the villain with a kick during the flight.
| Situation | Procedure |
|---|---|
| The opponent is on the same pole | Stay briefly on the pole and hit him with the shooting attack. |
| Opponent stands on a higher platform | Builds up momentum and performs an air kick when jumping off. |
| Enemies jump to Princess Peach | Change to the next pole in time or counter in the air. |
| Princess Peach falls into the gorge | You will be reset to the last secure platform and lose a heart. |
Defeat all five opponents
After each defeated villain, check whether an opponent is still waiting on a higher or further back pole.
The dark fog only disappears when all five party members have been turned off. This will clear the way to school and an additional pole path.
Reaching Fourth Sparkle Gem
After defeating the five opponents in the gorge, the main path continues to the left or straight ahead.
Don’t jump to dark school yet. On the right side appears an additional row of high bars.
Use the first pole and work your way up. On the second highest pole is a large 10-coin. Jump from there to the highest pole.
This is where the fourth Sparkle Gem floats.
| Position | Subject matter |
|---|---|
| First bars | Ordinary coins |
| Second highest bar | Large 10 coin |
| Highest pole | Fourth Sparkle Gem |
After collecting, carefully jumps back to the lower platform. Follow the path to the dark school.
Entrance to the Dark School
In front of the large building are two other opponent groups of ordinary kung fu fighters and staff fighters.
Defeat the fast melee fighters first, so that they do not interrupt Princess Peach during the counterattack against the staff wearers.
First opponent group
Lure the usual opponents from the group and hit them with quick kicks.
Don’t stay right in front of a staff fighter. His attack can hit Princess Peach during the strike combination.
Second opponent group
The last group contains several opponents at once. Use the available space and move in a large circle around the party member.
Counter the rod attacks only when the weapon visibly lights up. Then grab it immediately before the opponent rebuilds his cover.
Once all opponents have been defeated, the great gateway to the school opens.
Boss fight against the Dark Kung Fu Master
Inside the school, Princess Peach finds the captured Kung Fu Sparkla. The Dark Kung Fu Master has tied him to the wall with dark energy.
Through Grape’s power, the master can create two doubles. The copies attack Princess Peach from the left and right sides, while the original remains in the background at the Sparkla.
The struggle consists of several alternating phases.
Do not carry out attacks continuously
All three variants of the Kung Fu master block ordinary frontal attacks.
Wait for the blinded circles and the metallic sound. Presses the attack button only when the circle has completely contracted and lights up.
| Signal | Significance |
|---|---|
| A large circle appears | The enemy is preparing an attack. |
| The circle becomes smaller | Keep waiting and don’t press the button yet. |
| The circle lights up | Press the attack button immediately to counter. |
| Multiple circles in succession | Counter each beat individually in the given rhythm. |
Right doppelganger
Princess Peach starts on the right. The doppelganger there attacks with fast strikes, kicks and a straight rush.
Counter the first attacks in the rhythm of the circles. During the onslaught, you wait until the opponent has almost arrived at Princess Peach.
After several successful counters, the copy is dazed. Presses the attack button repeatedly and performs a longer strike combination.
Left doppelganger
Princess Peach moves to the left. This doppelganger uses in addition to ordinary kicks also a jump attack.
Jumps in the superimposed moment also upwards and kicks the opponent in the air. If you perform the counter on the ground, Princess Peach can be hit.
| Attack | Reaction |
|---|---|
| Ordinary stroke | Presses the attack button when the circle lights up. |
| Fast tread combination | Counter each step one by one. |
| Jumping attack | Jump up at the right moment and kick the opponent in the air. |
| Double is dazed | Immediately perform a quick attack combination. |
Energy balls of the original
In between the attacks of the Doubles, the real Dark Kung Fu master interferes.
He flings straight and curved energy balls at Princess Peach. Watch the trajectory and kick the bullet back as soon as it reaches Princess Peach’s range.
A successful hit interrupts the attack and brings you back to the respective double.
Defeating the first doppelgangers
After another round on the right, you can finally defeat the first copy.
Counter her entire attack combination and attack her as soon as she is dazed. Princess Peach throws the doppelganger out of the combat area.
Then you have to turn off the left copy in the same way.
Defeat second doppelgangers
The left opponent now uses faster hit and jump sequences.
Pay particular attention to whether Princess Peach has to counter on the ground or follow the opponent into the air. After a complete error-free combination, this double is also behaved.
Attacks multiple times until the second copy disappears.
Final against the real Kung Fu champion
After defeating both doubles, the real Dark Kung Fu Master leaves the background and confronts Princess Peach himself.
He can now teleport between the left and right sides and attacks mainly with energy balls.
Observing teleportation
The Master disappears in a dark cloud and shortly afterwards appears on the other side.
Turn Princess Peach immediately in his direction. Do not attack directly, but wait for the next energy ball.
Straight energy balls
Straight bullets fly directly towards Princess Peach without changing direction.
Wait until the circle contracts and the ball almost arrives at Princess Peach. Then press the attack button and throw it back.
Curved energy balls
Curved balls first rise up or move through the arena in an arc.
Observe their trajectory and tread only when the projectile has reached Princess Peach’s altitude. A too early attack goes into nowhere.
| Projectile | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Straight ball | Wait until she is right in front of Princess Peach and resign her. |
| Curved ball | Trace her bow and attack only at Princess Peach’s height. |
| Multiple balls | Counter each ball individually and pay attention to the changing rhythm. |
| Master teleports himself | Turn Princess Peach to the new side immediately before the next attack begins. |
Retaliate the Great Energy Ball
In his last great attack, the master creates a huge energy ball.
A single step is not enough. Presses the attack button several times in the displayed rhythm. With each hit, the ball is pushed back one piece to the opponent.
After several successful kicks, the projectile hits the Dark Kung Fu Master and temporarily deprives him of his dark power.
Joint final attack
The Kung Fu Sparkla is released. However, the Dark Kung Fu Master again gathers dark energy and launches one last attack.
Princess Peach and the Kung Fu Sparkla are now together in front of him. Counter the fast attacks in the given rhythm.
As soon as they both start to kick at the same time, you press the faded button. Princess Peach and the Sparkla meet the master together and defeat him finally.
For the victory you will receive the fifth Sparkle Gem and complete the play.
After Completion: Find the Ninja Theets
Upon completion of the main story, you can re-enter the play to find the hidden Ninja Theets.
Since it is a short play in the basement, only one Theet is hidden here. At the same time, this is the last Theet of the entire search task.
| # | Location |
|---|---|
| 1 | The Theet is already a few steps after the launch. Jump onto the large platform with the boulder and then go to the right end of the red stairs. The Theet stands to the right of the platform or behind the destructible stone on the edge of the projection. |
Searching at the beginning
Runs after the start first to the area with the first Sparkle Gem and the ribboner.
Then examine the right edge of the red staircase. Destroy the boulder there if it blocks the view.
The Theet camouflages suitably to the grey rock face and can look like part of the backdrop. Speak to him before you follow the main path to the first combat surface.
If you have found all the Theet in all the plays, you can return to the Ninja Sparkla in the Funkeltheater and collect your reward.
The Dark School and the Twisted Fist
| Tip | Declaration |
|---|---|
| Only five Sparkle Gems | The third plays in the basement are shorter and contain five Sparkle Gems each. |
| Jump up immediately after the start | The first Sparkle Gem lies on an elevated rock outcrop off the main path. |
| Destroy Boulder at First Crystal | This includes the ribboner. |
| Look for Theet at the right end of the red staircase | The only Theet is already in the starting area near the ribbon. |
| Staff members do not attack head-on | Wait until the weapon lights up, and only then counter. |
| Check the ground after the first raid | The pose spot for the second Sparkle Gem is on the dark stones to the right of the combat surface. |
| Build momentum in the secret room | Jump off a pole when Princess Peach swings towards the next platform. |
| Look for the falling rocks on the top left | The third Sparkle Gem lies on a protrusion next to a large stone. |
| Defeat all five opponents in the gorge | Only then does the fog disappear and the additional rod path appears. |
| Use the right path | Behind the large 10-coin lies the fourth Sparkle Gem on the highest pole. |
| Attention to the Boss‘ Circles | Presses the attack button only when the respective circle has contracted and lights up. |
| Left doppelgangers in the air counter | In his jump attack, Princess Peach must also jump up and step in the air. |
| Energy balls do not occur too early | Wait until they reach Princess Peach’s range. |
| Large ball hit several times | A single step is not enough for the last projectile. |
| Complete attack together | At the finale, follow the rhythm of the kung fu Theets and simultaneously enter. |
