Mighty Mission: Alien Invasion

Complete Mighty Mission: Alien Invasion in Princess Peach: Showtime! and collect the Sparkle Gems and ribbon. When you return after finishing the story, look for the three hidden Ninja Theets as well.

Locations of the Sparkle Gems

In Mission “Alien Invasion” you can find a total of 10 Sparkle Gems. You get some through rescues, others through fights, a hidden pose spot and the flight section with superhero Princess Peach.

#	Location
1	Right at the beginning you have to save two teats before they are kidnapped by the UFOs. If you manage both rescues in time, you will receive the first Sparkle Gem.
2	In the burning city area you use the fountain together with Princess Peach’s sparkling power to put out the fire. Then you can collect the second Sparkle Gem.
3	The third Sparkle Gem is on the way, but is easy to miss. Jump to the car first and then to the bus to reach it.
4	After Princess Peach becomes a superhero, you must take down the enemies and destroy the UFOs. After this first superhero action, you get the fourth Sparkle Gem.
5	In the next section, destroyed cars are in the way. Pick up the broken vehicles and throw them aside. Behind them is the fifth Sparkle Gem.
6	Defeat the purple alien jellyfish or the alien octopus. After the fight you will receive the sixth Sparkle Gem.
7	Before you follow the main path to the right, pay attention to the sparkling pose spot at the triangular sign. Pose there to get into the secret area with the seventh Sparkle Gem.
8	During the flight section you have to collect all 8 sparkling crystal fragments. Once you have caught all the fragments, the eighth Sparkle Gem is created.
9	Also during the flight, UFOs attack and try to kidnap Theet. Destroy all UFOs in time to get the ninth Sparkle Gem.
10	The last Sparkle Gem is automatically received when you successfully complete the play and defeat the alien mothership.

Location of the ribbon

You get the ribbon in this play of the ribboner. You will find him early in the level in a destroyed area surrounded by fire.

The ribboner is stuck there on a wall. Go to him and use Princess Peach’s sparkling band or sparkling power to free him. Then you will get the superhero Ribbon.

Mini boss: Alien jellyfish

Before the actual boss fight you will encounter alien jellyfish or alien octopuses. These opponents move through the area and follow the teat.

1. Keep moving and follow the opponent.
2. Pay attention to where the tea goes.
3. Attack the alien jellyfish as soon as it is within range.
4. In the second opponent, the running direction can change. Reacts quickly and stays close to the group.

The middle area is often a good starting point, because from there you can react quickly to the movements of the opponents.

Boss fight against the alien mothership

At the end of the play you will fight against the alien mothership. The mother ship protects itself with a smaller ship of the Sour Bunch. You must first exploit this smaller ship to damage the actual boss.

1. Keep your distance and stay as far to the left as possible.
2. Wait until the smaller ship launches its fist attack.
3. Counter the attack at the right moment.
4. When the smaller ship is stunned, it engages with the B button.
5. Press the B-key repeatedly to hurl it against the mother ship.
6. Repeat this procedure until the mother ship is defeated.

The key to fighting is good timing. Do not attack ill-considered, but wait for the fist attack of the smaller ship. After the successful counterattack, you can use it as a weapon against the mother ship.

After Completion: Find the 3 Ninja Theets

After completing the main story, you can re-enter the play to find the hidden Ninja Theets. In Mission Alien Invasion, three Theet are hidden.

#	Location
1	The first Theet is directly at the start of the level. Look behind or beside the launch platform before you move on.
2	In the burning section with the hanging tea you will find the second Theet before the flames. It is located above or near the tea, which can hardly hold itself.
3	The third Theet is hidden almost directly near the second. Look right in front of the screen where a robot can be seen.

Do not postpone rescues	Several Sparkle Gems depend on their Theet to save in time from UFOs or opponents.
Looking for increased paths	The third Sparkle Gem is on an elevated path via car and bus.
Removing Broken Cars	The fifth Sparkle Gem is hidden behind destroyed vehicles.
Use the pose position at the triangle	The seventh Sparkle Gem lies in a secret area. Pose there before you move further to the right.
Stay focused in the flight section	During the flight you must collect fragments as well as destroy UFOs.
Winning boss fight over counterattack	The mother ship is not directly defeated. Uses the smaller ship as a projectile after a successful counterattack.
