Locations of the Sparkle Gems
In A Kung Fu Legend you can find a total of 7 Sparkle Gems. The Sauertruppe kidnapped four children and took them to different areas of the fortress.
Several Sparkle Gems you get automatically for successful rescue operations. Two more crystals are hidden in a secret pose location and as eight individual sparkling crystal fragments.
| # | Location |
|---|---|
| 1 | Enter the large building after the first fight and work your way up the platforms and poles. The first child is held by a villain dressed in green. Defeat the kidnapper to free the child and get the first Sparkle Gem. |
| 2 | After leaving the first building, the great kung fu master of the Sauertruppe confronts you again. Wait for his attacks and counter as soon as the circle lights up or the metallic sound sounds. After several successful counters, you can drive him away with a strike combination. For this you get the second Sparkle Gem. |
| 3 | In the next outdoor area, the hijackers flee via several platforms lying on top of each other. Destroy the wooden supports so that parts of the path collapse. Strike at the top end against the last support, so that the villain falls down with the second child. Defeat him and save the child to get the third Sparkle Gem. |
| 4 | In the following building you slide down on a long red pole. Jumps to the left in time in the lower area and destroys the pots there. Underneath it comes a sparkling pose spot. Pose and swing in the secret room over several rods up. There is the fourth Sparkle Gem. |
| 5 | Return to the main path and use the next red pole. As you slide down, you must meet the kidnapper of the third child with a kick. Defeat him on the lower level and free the child. As a thank you receive the fifth Sparkle Gem. |
| 6 | After the rescue of the third child, you climb over the poles back up. Jumps alternately between the left and right bars. At the top, take the long rod on the right and collect all eight sparkling crystal fragments during the downhill. If you have not missed a fragment, the sixth Sparkle Gem is created. |
| 7 | In the last building you first save the fourth child. After that, the final fight against the Kung Fu master begins. Fight back his energy bullets and then counter his melee attacks. If he is dazed, you perform a quick stroke combination. After the victory you will receive the seventh Sparkle Gem. |
Location of the ribbon
You can get the Kung Fu Ribbon at the beginning of the play.
After breaking open the large entrance gate and defeating the first enemy group, you should not enter the building immediately. Instead, take the narrow sidewalk and walk behind the building.
There are several stacked pots. Destroy them with Kung-Fu-Peachs kicks. Among the pots is the ribboner spilled.
Once you free him, he hands you the Kung Fu Ribbon for Stella.
| Rewards | Location | Task |
|---|---|---|
| Kung-fu-Ribbon | Lateral path behind the first building | Destroy the stacked pots and free the ribboner spilled underneath. |
Rescuing the Four Kidnapped Children
The Sauertruppe has kidnapped four children of the Kung Fu master. Princess Peach traces the villains through several buildings and over the roofs of the fortress.
Three rescues will be rewarded with a Sparkle Gem. You will find the fourth child immediately before the final boss fight.
The first child
Enter the first building and defeat the opponents on the lower level. Use the red poles to reach higher platforms.
In several places, tables and other obstacles stand in the way. Destroy them with Kung-Fu-Peachs kicks or use the rods for a complete blow.
At the top, a villain dressed in green tries to escape with the first child. Defeat him before you leave the building.
The second child
After the first fight against the Kung Fu master, you pursue the remaining kidnappers via a multi-storey outdoor facility.
Several platforms are supported by wooden beams. Strike against the supports to bring down the upper paths.
| Danger | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Narrow platform | Keep jumping fast and do not stop between several opponents. |
| Wooden support | Step several times until the platform above it collapses. |
| Opponent with pole | Wait for his attack and then strike back from a short distance. |
| Kidnappers at the top level | Destroy the last support so that he falls down together with the child. |
Defeat the kidnapper on the lower level and talk to the rescued child.
The third child
In the second building, the last two hijackers jump down on long red poles.
Follow them over the first rod. You can kick opponents during the downhill, jump off windows and reach hidden pose spots.
On the second pole, a villain slides down with the third child. Point Princess Peach at him and make a kick at the right moment.
Then land on the lower level and defeat him completely. Then the third child is saved.
The Fourth Child
After rescuing the third child, you climb up again and follow the last kidnapper to the fortress of the Kung Fu master.
In the last room, the villain is surprised by Princess Peach. Defeat him to free the fourth child.
Immediately afterwards, the great kung fu master appears and starts the final fight of the play.
Red poles and collapse platforms
Climbing up at the poles
Jump to a red bar with A. Princess Peach automatically starts to turn on it.
Press A again at the right moment to jump to the next pole or platform. If you want to gain altitude, you should jump off as soon as Princess Peach swings upwards.
| Action | Note: |
|---|---|
| Handle rod | Jump in their direction. Princess Peach automatically holds on. |
| Jumping up | Press A when Princess Peach points to the next pole or platform. |
| Opponents meet | Remains briefly on the rod and performs the circular attack. |
| Change direction | Jump from the left to the right and then back again. |
Slide down on the long rod
On the long red poles, Princess Peach moves automatically downwards. Opponents, coins, pose points and sparkling crystal fragments appear on both sides.
Pay early attention to windows and platforms. Jumps a little before the desired altitude, as Princess Peach falls a little further down during the jump.
Destroying wooden supports
In the outdoor area you have to destroy the load-bearing beams of several platforms. This opens the way and stops the kidnapper of the second child.
Do not step uncontrollably against every support. First, see if Princess Peach can still reach a safe platform after the collapse.
Hidden pose spots
In A Kung Fu Legend, there are a total of five sparkling pose spots. One of them leads to the fourth Sparkle Gem. In the other secret rooms you will find additional coins.

Pose Room with the Fourth Sparkle Gem
Poses in the lower corner of the room and enters the secret section.
Inside there are several red rods on top of each other. Take turns jumping from one pole to the next and work your way up to the top platform.
If you fall down, you can try the ascent again. At the top you collect the fourth Sparkle Gem.
All 8 sparkling crystal fragments
The eight fragments for the sixth Sparkle Gem appear after the rescue of the third child.
First, climb back up over the two poles. Do not leave the area immediately through the normal exit.
Jump to the long pole on the right. As Princess Peach slides down, there are several fragments on the left and right sides.
| Section | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Upper fragments | Stay on the right side of the bar and collect the first parts. |
| Medium fragments | Change to the opposite side in time. |
| Lower fragments | Don’t jump too early. Several parts are still just before the end of the rod. |
| Fragment missed | Return over the poles and start the descent again. |
Once you have collected all eight fragments, the sixth Sparkle Gem automatically assembles.
Fighting the Kung Fu Master
The great kung fu master of the Sauertruppe meets her twice. In the first duel, he mainly uses melee attacks. In the final he shoots additional energy balls on Princess Peach.
First fight
Do not attack continuously. The kung fu master fends off ordinary kicks and can directly fight back Princess Peach.
Wait until he prepares his attack. A circle contracts and lights up at the right moment. In addition, a metallic sound can be heard.
Now press the attack button. Princess Peach counters his blow and throws it off balance.
| Boss action | Reaction |
|---|---|
| Master raises arm or leg | Wait and don’t attack. |
| The circle draws together | Presses the attack button as soon as the circle lights up. |
| Multiple steps in succession | Counter each step individually in the right rhythm. |
| Master is dazed | Presses the attack button several times for Princess Peach’s strike combination. |
After the successful combination, the opponent withdraws and you get the second Sparkle Gem.
Final battle
In the second duel, the master begins from a greater distance. He charges one or more energy balls and shoots them at Princess Peach.
The balls can fly straight or come in an arc towards Princess Peach. Wait until a projectile is within walking distance and press the attack button.
The ball is thrown back to the boss. After several hits, the master approaches and begins his close combat combination.
Strike back energy balls
| Projectile | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Straight energy ball | Stand still and retire shortly before the hit. |
| Curved energy ball | Watch her trajectory and wait until she reaches Princess Peach’s altitude. |
| Multiple balls | Strike each ball back individually at the given rhythm. |
| Large sphere | Presses the attack button several times or follows the inserted inputs. |
Once the master has received enough bullets of his own, he starts again with quick shots and kicks.
Counter the entire combination. Once he is dazed, press the attack button several times and throw him into the scenery with Princess Peach’s closing attack.
This defeats the opponent and you get the seventh Sparkle Gem.
After Completion: Find the 3 Ninja Theets
After completing the main story, you can re-enter the play to find the hidden Ninja Theets. In A Kung Fu Legend, three Theet are hidden.
The Theet are located in the first three major areas of the play. Search the rooms thoroughly before completing the rescue operation.
| # | Location |
|---|---|
| 1 | The first Theet is hidden in the first building. Fight your way through the room, but do not climb the stairs to the upper level. Look at the rear right at the tables or behind the middle red pole. |
| 2 | The second Theet is located outside with the collapsing platforms, right after the first fight against the kung fu master. Looks on the right side of the lowest level next to a wooden support. |
| 3 | The third Theet hides in the building where you save the third child. After the rescue, climb up again and examine the second floor or the rear left corner at the turnstiles before using the exit. |
