Complete Dark Space & the Great Meteor in Princess Peach: Showtime! and collect the Sparkle Gems and ribbon. When you return after finishing the story, look for the three hidden Ninja Theets as well.
We will show you where to find all 5 Sparkle Gems, how to get the multi-colored superhero Ribbon of the Ribboner, how to save the Professor and the superhero Sparkla and together destroy the giant meteorite.
After completing the main story, you can re-enter the play and search for the hidden Ninja Theets.
Locations of the Sparkle Gems
In Dark Space & the Great Meteor you can find a total of 5 Sparkle Gems. The play begins on a small floating platform constantly attacked by meteorites and aliens.
Later you will have to protect the professor during his work on a control desk. The last two Sparkle Gems you get during the flight together with the superheroine Sparkla.
| # | Location |
|---|---|
| 1 | While traveling on the floating platform, you must intercept all meteorites before they hit the ground. Raise the boulders and throw them into space or against emerging opponents. If the platform remains undamaged until the end, you will receive the first Sparkle Gem. |
| 2 | After you rescue the professor from the clutches of the purple alien, you reach a staircase. To the right is a triangular mark with a sparkling pose location. Pose there and defeat all UFOs in the secret room. Then the second Sparkle Gem appears. |
| 3 | The superhero Sparkla is enclosed in a large bullet. While the professor examines the control panel, meteorites and members of the Sauer Force attack. Destroy all attackers before they reach the professor. If he does not suffer any damage, you get the third Sparkle Gem. |
| 4 | After the liberation of the superhero Theets you fly together through space. Later you can hurl your companion forward. Destroy all large meteorites, debris and approaching vehicles. If you have not missed a goal, you will receive the fourth Sparkle Gem. |
| 5 | At the end of the play, a huge meteor is racing towards you. Follow the faded input and combine the powers of Princess Peach and superhero Sparkla. Break through the meteorites to get the fifth Sparkle Gem and complete the play. |
Location of the ribbon
The multi-colored superheroin-Ribbon can already be found during the ride on the floating platform.
In the later part of the section you will discover the ribboner on a small platform in the background. He is threatened by several members of the Sauertruppe.
Pick up one of the approaching meteorites and throw it towards the opponents. If you meet the group, the ribbon is rescued and gives you the multi-colored superheroin ribbon for Stella.
| Rewards | Location | Task |
|---|---|---|
| Multicolored superheroin ribbon | During the journey on the floating platform | Pick up a meteorite and throw it at the Ribboner opponents. |
Ribbons not overlooked
The platform moves automatically throughout the entire section. Therefore, pay attention to the background and the call for help of the loop master.
Once you have passed it, you cannot return during this passage. If possible, always have a meteor ready so that you can immediately aim at the opponents.
Protecting the floating platform
At the beginning, the professor receives a distress signal from the superheroine radio. Princess Peach climbs onto a small platform and follows the signal through the dark space.
The platform has no visible life indication. However, impacting meteorites leave damage and prevent the preservation of the first sparkling crystal.
Meteorites caught in time
Meteorites are announced shortly before their impact by shadows or markings on the platform.
Runs to the expected landing site and catches the meteor. Superhero Princess Peach then holds him over her head.
| Situation | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Meteorite falls on the platform | Stand under its trajectory and pick it up before it hits the ground. |
| Multiple meteorites appear | Ship the first immediately and then run to the next impact point. |
| Enemies land on the platform | Throw a meteorite at the group or defeat them with Princess Peach’s strikes. |
| Large meteorite | Follow the hidden input and throw it away with both hands. |
Throwing aliens off the platform
In addition to the meteorites, members of the Sauertruppe land on the platform again and again. Attack them with superhero Peachs strikes or pick up an opponent and throw him against his allies.
Defeat the aliens as quickly as possible. If they stay on the platform for too long, they can hinder Princess Peach from intercepting the next meteorite.
First Sparkle Gem Received
For the first Sparkle Gem, no meteorite may strike unabated on the platform.
If possible, stay in the middle. From there you reach the various landing sites faster than if you wait permanently at one edge.
The Sparkle Gem automatically appears at the end of the journey, provided the platform has not suffered any damage.
Saving the Professor
While driving, the professor notices that the distress signal is getting weaker and weaker. He flies ahead, but is caught by a large purple alien.
Once Princess Peach reaches the space station, it lands in front of a group of four enemies.
Defeat first enemy group
The aliens attack Princess Peach from several sides. Use their super power to pick up an opponent and throw against the rest of the group.
| Opposing behaviour | Reaction |
|---|---|
| Enemies head straight to Princess Peach | Hit him back or lift him after the first hit. |
| Several opponents stand together | Ship a rogue included in the group. |
| Enemies attack from the air | Jump and hit him with an airstrike. |
| Princess Peach is surrounded | Move out of the group and attack from the side again. |
After all opponents are defeated, the kidnapper flees with the professor into the next room.
Track the purple alien
The purple alien moves quickly through the long space and changes direction regularly.
Don’t run after him permanently. Move in the opposite direction so that Princess Peach and the enemy meet on the other side of the circuit.
Attack the alien as soon as it comes within reach. After several hits, it drops the professor and is defeated.
Pose location for the second Sparkle Gem
After the professor is rescued, the main path continues on a staircase.
Don’t go up yet. To the right of the stairs you can see a large triangular marking on the floor. There are several stars on it.
Place Princess Peach in the center of the triangle and press ZL or ZR to enter the secret room.
| Location | Task | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Triangular marking to the right of the stairs | Pose and defeat all UFOs in the secret room. | Second Sparkle Gem |
Destroy UFOs in Secret Space
In the pose room, several small UFOs appear. Some fly directly towards Princess Peach, while others remain at a greater distance.
Jump to the high-flying spaceships and attack them in the air. Deep UFOs can be hit with normal beats.
After all enemies have been destroyed, the second Sparkle Gem appears.
Free the superhero Sparkla
Princess Peach and the professor discover the superhero Sparkla in a large spherical machine. Inside there is a window behind which the prisoner can be seen.
The professor examines the control desk. Meanwhile, meteors and enemies are sent to the station.
Protecting Professor During Hacking
During his work, the professor remains directly at the control desk and cannot defend himself.
Place Princess Peach between him and the attackers. Pay attention to both the falling meteorites and enemies coming from the sides.
| Danger | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Meteorite flies towards the professor | Catch him and throw him in a free direction or against an opponent. |
| Rogue lands next to the professor | Attack him immediately and throw him away from the control desk. |
| Several opponents appear | Uses a meteor or captured enemy as a projectile. |
| Professor is hit | The section continues, but the additional condition for the third Sparkle Gem is missed. |
Receive third Sparkle Gem
The professor must not suffer a hit during the entire process.
Therefore, stay close to it and walk away only if a meteorite on the other side is immediately before the impact.
After the machine has been successfully decoded, the third Sparkle Gem appears, provided the professor has remained unscathed.
Destroying the Bullet Prison
The control desk does not yet fully open the machine. Princess Peach must destroy the big bullet himself.
Stand in front of the jail and fight against it several times. After a few hits, the outer shell breaks apart and the superheroine Sparkla is free.
After completing the main story, you should also search for the Ninja Theets at this point.
Escape from the meteor hail
The original exit has now been destroyed. A massive meteorite and numerous smaller debris race toward the space station.
Princess Peach and the superhero Sparkla use an elevator and fly into space together.
Flying through obstacles together
At the beginning, Princess Peach and the Sparkla fly side by side. Both can destroy meteorites and approaching vehicles with their blows.
If possible, stay in the middle of the screen. Some obstacles appear above and below almost simultaneously.
| Danger | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Small meteorite | Destroy him with a normal blow. |
| Large meteorite | Attacks several times or waits for the common special technology. |
| Approaching vehicle | Meet it early before separating Princess Peach and Sparkla. |
| Multiple obstacles in a row | Direct yourself to the middle of the group and attack without any longer interruption. |
Using Superheroine Sparkla as a projectile
After the first flight phase, the superhero Sparkla proposes a new technique.
Princess Peach grabs her companion and throws him forward with great force. The Sparkla breaks through larger meteorites, vehicles and other obstacles.
Align the toss with the stick and pay attention to targets at the top and bottom of the screen.
Fourth Sparkle Gem
For the fourth Sparkle Gem you have to destroy all major obstacles during this flight phase.
These include:
- Large meteors
- approaching vehicles
- Floating debris
- the larger building or tower at the end of the passage
Ship the superheroine Sparkla early. After a hit, it automatically returns to Princess Peach and can be used again immediately.
If you have not missed a big goal, the fourth Sparkle Gem appears.
Final against the giant meteorite
At the end of the air passage, the huge meteorite appears, threatening the entire space station.
It is too big to be destroyed with ordinary attacks. Princess Peach and the superhero Sparkla must combine their powers.
Charge attack together
Follow the hidden input and hold the action button. Princess Peach and the Sparkla collect their energy.
Do not release the button until the display is fully filled. An attack too early is not enough to break through the outer layer of the meteorite.
Flying through the meteor
After the first hit, both figures race directly into the meteorites.
Dodge the larger boulder inside and destroy the smaller obstacles with your blows.
Stay as high as possible with the superheroine Sparkla. If both figures move too far apart, it becomes more difficult to break the next barrier together.
Performing the last impulse
At the core of the meteorite appears another input. Press or hold the displayed button and fill the force indicator completely.
Princess Peach and the superhero Sparkla break the core together. The entire meteorite decays and the space station is saved.
For the victory you will receive the fifth Sparkle Gem and finish the play.
After Completion: Find the Ninja Theets
Upon completion of the main story, you can re-enter the play to find the hidden Ninja Theets.
Since it is a short play in the basement, only one Theet is hidden here.
| # | Location |
|---|---|
| 1 | The Theet is located at the control desk with which the professor frees the captured superhero Sparkla. Look right next to or partly in front of the console before you completely destroy the bullet prison. |
Before seeking liberation
After protecting the professor during his work, stop at the control desk.
Goes a little bit to the right and examines the area right next to the console. The Theet disguises itself to match the dark technical backdrop and can look like a part of the desk.
Speak to him before you destroy the bullet prison and begin the final flight. After that, you cannot return to this area.
