Complete A Parade on Ice in Princess Peach: Showtime! and collect the Sparkle Gems and ribbon. When you return after finishing the story, look for the three hidden Ninja Theets as well.
We will show you where to find all 7 Sparkle Gems, how to get the Ribbon of the Ribboner, what to consider during the parade and the figure skating inserts and where to find the 3 Ninja Theets after the main story is completed.
Locations of the Sparkle Gems
In A Parade on Ice you can find a total of 7 Sparkle Gems. A large part of the play consists of an automatic parade. Meanwhile, you must drive opponents from the float, drive markings on the ice and perform pirouettes with the other figure skaters.
Since the move is constantly moving, you can no longer make up missed Sparkle Gems and Fragments in the same pass. Pay particular attention to the yellow jump markings, the ribboner and the sparkling crystal fragments in the dancers.
| # | Location |
|---|---|
| 1 | Right at the beginning, several members of the Sauertruppe occupied the float. Drive towards the opponents and perform a pirouette near them. As soon as you have driven all the villains from the car, the first Sparkle Gem appears. |
| 2 | During the parade, yellow jump markings appear on the ice. Drive over the appropriate marking and jump to an elevated platform. There you can collect the second Sparkle Gem. Then jump back to the float or onto the ice surface. |
| 3 | During the procession, several figure skaters drive past Princess Peach. Perform a pirouette on each of them to join the performance. Each dancer gives you a sparkling crystal fragment. Collect all eight fragments to create the third Sparkle Gem. |
| 4 | On the ice surface, blue and yellow markings appear during the parade. Drive over all specifications and perform the indicated jumps or pirouettes. As a result, you fill the illuminated display of the fixed car. If the display is completely filled, you get the fourth Sparkle Gem. |
| 5 | Completes the entire festive move error-free. You have to hit the markings clean, pick up the figure skaters in your performance and quickly drive attacking members of the Sauertruppe from the float. For a successful performance you will get the fifth Sparkle Gem at the end of the parade. |
| 6 | After the parade, you reach a ramp that leads to the final fight. Don’t go up yet. Right next to the ramp, a pose spot sparkles on the floor. Pose there and complete all figure skating markings in the secret room. Then the sixth Sparkle Gem appears. |
| 7 | In the final you will compete against the dark figure skater of the Sauertruppe. First, free the enchanted dancers, wait for an opportunity to attack and encircle the boss with a pirouette. After the victory you will receive the seventh Sparkle Gem. |
Location of the ribbon
The ribbon can be found during the festive move. In the later part of the parade, the ribboner hangs on a high pole or lantern. Two Sauertruppe figure skaters circle around him.
Drive to the two opponents and perform a pirouette in their vicinity. Once both villains have been defeated, the Ribboner can safely save himself on the float.
As a reward you will receive the figure skater-Ribbon for Stella.
| Rewards | Location | Task |
|---|---|---|
| Ribbon skater | During the parade on a pole or lantern | Defeat the two opponents who circle around the Ribboner. |
A Parade on Ice
Defending the float
During the parade, members of the Sauertruppe always jump on the float. As long as opponents are on it, the light indicator of the car sinks.
Therefore, drive as fast as possible to each new opponent. Touch him with a pirouette to throw him off the wagon. Several villains can be hit with a single longer turn if they are close together.
| Situation | Procedure |
|---|---|
| An opponent on the float | Drive directly to him and perform a short pirouette. |
| Multiple opponents | Start the rotation a little in front of the group and drive through all the villains during the pirouette. |
| Display decreases | Stop collecting coins and eliminate opponents first. |
| Opponents at the edge | Do not drive too far past the landing car. Turn right in front of him and hit him from the side. |
Meet markings on the ice
During the move, various signs appear on the ice surface. Drive as centrally as possible so that Princess Peach performs the intended movement.
For longer rows you should not make hectic changes of direction. Starts early with the movement to the next marking and glides over it in a wide arc.
| Marking | Action |
|---|---|
| Blue skating marking | Travel over it and executes the predetermined rotation or figure. |
| Yellow jump marker | Drive centrally over it so that Princess Peach jumps onto a platform or over an obstacle. |
| Series of markings | Steers gently to the next specification already after the first figure. |
| Marking at the edge | Start the curve early. A movement too late makes Princess Peach slip past the marker. |
collecting sparkling crystal fragments of the dancers
Several figure skaters ride alongside the float during the performance. Approach each dancer and perform a pirouette.
The dancer then joins the parade and hands you a sparkling crystal fragment. For the third Sparkle Gem you have to collect all eight fragments in one pass.
Also pay attention to the viewers at the bottom of the screen. Some dancers appear only for a short time and disappear again if the float is too far away.
Fully fill the illuminated indicator
On the float there is a display of several lights. It is filled by successful figures and correctly traversed markings.
Attacking opponents reduce progress again. Remove the Sauertruppe immediately from the car and only then devote yourself to the choreography again.
For the fourth Sparkle Gem, the display must be completely filled. The fifth crystal also requires a successful entire parade.
How to control skating correctly
Performing pirouettes
With her pirouette, figure skater Princess Peach can defeat opponents, include dancers in the performance and attack the boss.
Don’t start the rotation right next to your target. Activate them a little earlier and then direct Princess Peach during the pirouette by the opponent or dancer.
| Action | Note: |
|---|---|
| Starting Pirouette | Press the attack button and travel to the target during the rotation. |
| Several objectives | Steers Princess Peach in an arc through the entire group. |
| Recording dancers | Runs the pirouette directly next to the respective figure skater. |
| Boss orbiting | Stay close to the boss during the rotation and drive a full circle around him. |
Jumps over yellow markings
Yellow symbols serve as jumping hills. Drive centrally over it so that Princess Peach is automatically thrown up.
The second Sparkle Gem is located on an elevated platform, which you reach only in this way. After the jump, hold Princess Peach slightly towards the platform so that she does not fly past it sideways.
Controlled by cornering
Princess Peach glides a little further after a change of direction. Therefore, enter only short and gentle steering movements.
Especially with small platforms and close-together markings, strong movements can cause Princess Peach to slip over the finish.
Hidden pose spots
In A Parade on Ice, there are two sparkling pose spots. One leads into a small bonus room with coins. In the second you get the sixth Sparkle Gem.
| # | Location | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | In the early section of the play, before the actual move begins completely. Pay attention to the stars on the ground. | Coins |
| 2 | Right next to the ramp leading to the final boss fight. | Sixth Sparkle Gem |
Pose room before the final
Pose next to the ramp and enter the secret figure skating area. Several marks appear on the ice.
Drive over each specification and perform the displayed figures cleanly. If you miss a marker, you can try the short distance within the secret room again.
After all requirements have been met, the sixth Sparkle Gem appears.
Boss fight at the final
At the end of the move, the dark figure skater has brought several dancers under his control. You have to free the figure skaters and then circle the boss together.
Waiting for the dazed phase
The boss quickly turns over the ice sheet and tries to ram Princess Peach. Do not attack him directly during this movement.
Drive around the arena with enough distance and wait until the opponent loses his balance after his long turn. As soon as he stops dazed, you can approach safely.
| Boss action | Reaction |
|---|---|
| Fast rotation | Keep your distance and drive in a wide circle around the arena. |
| Boss pursues Princess Peach | Change direction slowly and do not make close turns right in front of him. |
| Boss loses balance | Approach immediately and perform a pirouette. |
| Dancers are threatened | First free the dancers in the immediate vicinity of the boss. |
Save the enchanted dancers
Perform a pirouette next to each captured dancer. This frees him from dark control and joins Princess Peach.
Start with the dancers who are directly at the boss. If you wait too long, the opponent can reach them again and make your work more difficult.
Then free the skaters standing further out.
Circling the Boss Together
After all the dancers are rescued, they form a group together with Princess Peach.
Drive close to the boss and start a pirouette. Steers the entire group in a complete circle around the opponent.
If the circle is closed, the boss is defeated by the common sparkling force. You will receive the seventh Sparkle Gem and complete the play.
After Completion: Find the 3 Ninja Theets
After completing the main story, you can re-enter the play to find the hidden Ninja Theets. In A Parade on Ice, three Theet are hidden.
Since there are two Theet during automatically running sections, you should address them as soon as they become visible. You cannot go back to them later.
| # | Location |
|---|---|
| 1 | The first Theet hides directly at the beginning on the float. Seek him before you defeat all the opponents of the Sauertruppe and start the actual parade. |
| 2 | The second Theet stands approximately in the middle of the move with the spectators at the bottom of the ice sheet. During the parade, pay attention to a striking figure between the audience and travel to her in time. |
| 3 | The third Theet hides in the final boss area behind the dark figure skater. Drive behind the boss before the end of the fight and address the camouflaged Theet. |
