The Dark Baker & the Bewitching Sweets

Princess Peach: Showtime! guide hub

Complete The Dark Baker & the Bewitching Sweets in Princess Peach: Showtime! and collect the Sparkle Gems and ribbon. When you return after finishing the story, look for the three hidden Ninja Theets as well.

We will show you where to find all 5 Sparkle Gems, how to get the multi-colored patissière ribbon of the loop master, how to win the cake duel, work with the patissière sparkla while baking cookies and defeat the dark baker.

After completing the main story, you can re-enter the play and search for the hidden Ninja Theets.

Locations of the Sparkle Gems

In The Dark Baker & the Bewitching Sweets you can find a total of 5 Sparkle Gems. The play consists almost entirely of baking and decorating tasks.

For the second and fourth Sparkle Gem you have to work especially fast. The first crystal is in a secret pose room, while the remaining two are automatically released by the patissière Theets and the victory over the dark baker.

# Location
1 Go to the right from the start. In front of one of the first buildings, a pose spot sparkles on the floor. Pose there and enter the secret room. Bake cookies together with the two Baker Theets and distribute them to the hungry residents. Once everyone is full, you get the first Sparkle Gem.
2 In the first big back duel, you have to decorate a three-story cake faster than the enchanted patissière Sparkla. Work quickly and finish your entire cake before your opponent finishes the second floor. If you succeed, you will get the second Sparkle Gem.
3 After the cake duel, the enchanted patissière-Sparkla Peachs wants to try finished cake. The taste releases the dark magic and frees it from the control of the Sauertruppe. For this you will automatically receive the third Sparkle Gem.
4 During the subsequent biscuit baking, you compete together with the patissière-Sparkla against the dark baker. Stand at least three times together with the Sparkla on the same bowl and produce there a large common portion of cookies. Then win the back duel to get the fourth Sparkle Gem.
5 After the victory, the dark baker claims that baking depends only on taste. Together with the Patissière-Sparkla, prepare a particularly large cookie and hand it over to your opponent. After trying the cookie, she is defeated and you get the fifth Sparkle Gem.

Location of the ribbon

The multi-colored Patissière-Ribbon can be found in front of the building where the cake duel takes place.

After encountering the enchanted Patissière-Sparkla, there is a bowl nearby for cookie baking. Use the bowl and prepare some cookies.

Then walk to the right to the bakery entrance. The hungry ribboner is waiting to the right of the door.

Give him the baked cookies. The quality and quantity of the cookies play no role in the rescue. Once the ribbon is full, it hands you the multi-colored patissière ribbon for Stella.

Baking cookies for the residents

Stand in the secret room together with the two baker Theets at a bowl. Turn the stick evenly in a circle to mix the dough.

Watch the paint and size of the dough. Stop stirring when the mass is completely mixed, but before it explodes.

Pick up the finished cookies and distribute them to the waiting residents. Some Theets require several cookies before they are completely full.

Action Note:
Stir the dough Turn the stick evenly and as far as possible without interruption in a circle.
End of jaws Stop as soon as the dough is fully colored and well mixed.
Distribute cookies Run with the tray to each hungry resident and give him enough pastries.
More cookies needed Return to the bowl and prepare a new portion.

As soon as all the inhabitants are full, the first Sparkle Gem appears. Then leave the secret room via the glowing platform.

The cake duel

The patissière Sparkla has been enchanted by the dark baker and challenges Princess Peach to a baking competition.

Both have to decorate a three-story motif cake. The individual levels rotate during work, which is why you have to control the injection nozzle and guide it as evenly as possible over the intended surfaces.

First floor: connecting macarons

On the lowest level are several macarons on the edge of the cake. Connects them to a continuous line of frosting.

Starts with a Macaron and moves Princess Peach in the same direction that the cake rotates. This means you have to control less against the movement of the platform.

Task Procedure
Apply frosting Hold the action button and move Princess Peach along the edge of the cake.
Closing gaps Drive briefly over already decorated places. Too much frosting is not punished.
Exploiting rotation Move with the rotation of the cake and not permanently against it.
Closed floor Checks the entire edge and fills up still visible free spaces.

Second floor: Crosses made of icing

The second level again contains several macarons. This time you have to inject a cruciform ornament around each piece of pastry.

Focus on one Macaron after another. Do not stay between two embellishments, as you lose time unnecessarily.

Rather, drive a little more generously over the marked areas. Additional frosting does not worsen your rating.

Third floor: Decorating the face

At the top level, you complete the face of the character. Draw the eyes and decorate the hat with frosting.

The cake no longer rotates so strongly in this section. Nevertheless, guides the injection nozzle in quiet movements and completely fills the intended lines.

Second Sparkle Gem Received

For the normal victory, it is enough to finish the cake in front of the Patissière-Sparkla.

For the second Sparkle Gem, stricter conditions apply: Your entire cake must be completed while the opponent is still on the second floor.

Tip Declaration
Keeping the injection nozzle pressed Don’t interrupt the frosting at every small gap.
Working clockwise The movement often fits better with the rotation of the first two cake planes.
Generous decoration Too much frosting is not punished. Therefore, rather go a little beyond the markings.
View the template briefly Remember the pattern before you start decorating.

If you are fast enough, the second Sparkle Gem appears after the duel.

Freeing the Patissière-Sparkla

Although Princess Peach has won the duel, the enchanted patissière-Sparkla does not want to accept the defeat at first.

He finally tries a piece of Peachs Cake. The taste reminds him of his real task and breaks the magic of the dark baker.

After his release, you will automatically receive the third Sparkle Gem.

The patissière-Sparkla now accompanies Princess Peach on the way to the exit. However, the dark baker drops the curtains and challenges both to another competition.

Biscuits against the dark baker

In the second big competition, Princess Peach and the patissière-Sparkla have to fill five plates with cookies before the dark baker has finished her own five stacks.

There are four bowls of dough in the room. Princess Peach and the Sparkla can bake separately or together.

Baking together on a bowl

If Princess Peach works alone on a bowl, only a smaller number of cookies are produced. If, on the other hand, it is together with the Patissière-Sparkla on the same dough, the portion is finished faster and is significantly larger.

Therefore, follow the Sparkla through the room. As soon as he starts at a bowl, put Princess Peach next to her and touch with him.

Working principle Result
Princess Peach bakes alone The preparation takes longer and results in a smaller portion.
Sparkla bakes alone He produces cookies, but without Princess Peach’s help is too slow for victory.
Princess Peach and Sparkla bake together The bowl is finished particularly quickly and results in a large stack of cookies.
At least three common portions After winning the competition you will receive the fourth Sparkle Gem.

Fourth Sparkle Gem

For the fourth Sparkle Gem you have to make at least three times together with the Patissière-Sparkla a large portion.

It is not enough merely to win the competition. Make sure that Princess Peach and the Sparkla really work on the same bowl at the same time.

The biscuits baked together can be recognized by their special decoration and the much larger number.

Dodging the Dark Baker’s Attacks

The dark baker is not only working on her own cookies. She regularly jumps back and forth between the bowls and drops to the floor with full force.

A marker indicates where it will land. Leave the affected bowl in time.

Danger Procedure
Baker jumps up Observe the landing mark on the ground.
Bowl is targeted Stop the baking and run to the next free bowl.
Princess Peach is hit She is thrown away and loses precious time.
Sparkla changes the bowl Follow him and work together again on the next batter.

Recognizing the Right Stirring Time

Turn the stick as quickly and evenly as possible. The dough changes its paint during mixing.

Finish the preparation just before the pieces of chocolate completely fall into the colorful dough. If you wait too long, the bowl explodes and the entire portion is lost.

If you stop too early, only a few cookies are produced. Therefore, watch not only Princess Peach, but also the change of dough.

Fill five plates

After each finished portion, the cookies are automatically placed on one of the plates.

If possible, always work together with Sparkla. In this way, a few large portions are enough to fill the five plates in front of the dark baker.

If you lose the race, Princess Peach loses a heart and the baking competition starts again.

Defeating the Dark Baker

After her defeat, the dark baker claims that speed in baking has no meaning. Only the taste is decisive.

Princess Peach and the Patissière-Sparkla therefore decide to prepare a particularly large cookie for them.

Stand together with the Patissière-Sparkla at the last bowl. Turn the stick evenly and pay attention again to the change of dough.

Since it is a particularly large cookie, you have to stir a little longer than with the normal portions. Stop in time before the dough is overmixed.

Pick up the finished giant cookie and take it to the dark bakery.

She tries the pastry reluctantly at first. However, the taste overwhelms them, causing their dark magic to collapse.

The curtains disappear and the way out of the play is reopened. For the victory you get the fifth Sparkle Gem.

After Completion: Find the Ninja Theets

Upon completion of the main story, you can re-enter the play to find the hidden Ninja Theets.

Since it is a short play in the basement, only one Theet is hidden here.

# Location
1 The Theet is located in front of the bakery entrance where the cake duel takes place. Look to the left of the door or near the place where the ribboner is waiting for his cookies.

Before entering the bakery

After following the enchanted Patissière-Sparkla, you reach the building with the first baking competition.

Do not enter the bakery yet. First examine the area to the left of the entrance.

The Theet camouflages to match the cute backdrop and can easily be overlooked between the decorations. Speak to him before you walk through the door.
