A Glimmer of Bulb Berry
Run along the red carpet, waiting for the gap between the ghosts to pass. At the other end, a Launch Star is waiting for you. Now follow the green path that comes out of the veiled wall, but is also devoured again. So don't go too long. Touch the Checkpoint Flag and now make the same game with the red way. Run right on it and watch out for the ghosts flying around. Two such passages follow. If you are focused enough, it should not be a problem. Before jumping into the green tube towards the end, you should grab the Comet Medal behind it by walking along the path as quickly as possible.
Now you are in the house and run through the Checkpoint Flag. Then ride on Yoshi and swallow the pearberry. With her, you make invisible paths walkable for a short time. To open the door you have to get the key below. Now always follow the red carpet and grab the precious fruit again and again. Jump onto the bookshelf at the end and swing to the star using the floating flower.
Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor
The launch is like the star before, only the ground is now moving in the opposite direction. At the end you will find a Launch Star again, but before that you have to flee from the Boos.
Touch the Checkpoint Flag and follow the path. Take care of the eaten holes in the ground. But above all, pay attention to the boos behind you who are constantly on your heels. Unfortunately, you cannot defeat them, only get off your neck for a short time. Do this by spinning them away. If you are too fast, you can also look back at the ghosts. This is how you stop them. Finally, use the small Launch Star.
Run through the Checkpoint Flag and past the holes until you are finally chased by a big boo again. Run forward as fast as possible and jump from platform to platform. At the end you can grab the Power Star.
Spooky Cosmic Clone Chase
Select this challenge when the Prankster Comet appears.
In this comet star, you practically make the end of “Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor”. This time, however, the Cosmic Clones follow you at every turn. As before, you also have to jump from platform to platform here. But you must never stop there, otherwise your persecutors will catch up and harm you. Ultimately, you will be rewarded with another star.
Comet Medal
Follow the first mission’s disappearing-path section to its far end. Collect the medal before entering the pipe into the hidden halls, watching the moving path beneath it.
Green Stars — unlock requirement
Collect all 120 regular stars and defeat Bowser again to unlock the Green Star hunt. Choose the corresponding Green Star mission from this galaxy’s mission screen. Follow the detours below rather than collecting the normal mission’s ending star.
Green Star 1
In A Glimmer of Bulb Berry, reach the teleporter at the end of the first area. The star is underneath it. Jump off the edge towards the star and spin to correct the fall.
Green Star 2
Continue to the disappearing paths. About halfway along the first path, look up for the star. A triple jump or a carefully timed jump and spin reaches it; keep the path visible with Bulb Yoshi while lining up.
Green Star 3
Choose Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor. In the final Mega Boo area, backflip or triple-jump into the high star before the pursuing Boo reaches you. Keep moving until you are directly beneath the target.
Check each numbered Green Star on the mission screen after collecting it. The routes finish immediately when the star is touched, including stars suspended over a gap.
