Mini-Planet Mega-Run

The principle of this Power Star is quite simple: just defeat all opponents on the respective planet, so that a Launch Star appears, which shoots you further. At the beginning, you admitted to mastering the most difficult task of the whole game – you have to defeat the Goomba in order to move forward. Defeat all three fire monsters on the second planet and get the Comet Medal by long jump over a crater.

On the third planet, you use the Fire Flower to defeat the spiky balls. Collect one again before you jump into the Launch Star, because it is also effective against the crabs. Especially the turquoise is persistent. After the Toad ship, you bring the Goombas in the pumpkins to the track, so that a key appears and a green tube is exposed. Swim to the bottom and get the green shell. With its lights, you can kill the Boos and make another Launch Star appear.

On the icy planet, you finally defeat all the ice monsters before devoting yourself to the moles. In the tube you jump to the right side of the spider-like opponents. Always wait for the correct direction of gravity. On the final planet, you must defeat all four Chain Chomps using the green ball. Just hit them by spin against the nasty creatures. Ultimately, a key appears with which you free the Power Star.

Snacktime for Gobblegut

This is a secret star!

Choose for this secret star “Who wants again?” Who hasn't? Collect at least 20 coins until you reach the ice planet, where a Hungry Luma is waiting for you. If you collect the coins of the defeated enemies, this should not be a problem. However, the renewed fight against Gobblegut does. The principle remains the same as in the article “Gobblegut Bauchringkur”. This time, however, the huge dragon is extremely hot, so you can only hit it on its belly rings in order not to be damaged. For this fight it is recommended to buy a Life Mushroom at the Luma beforehand.

Mini-Planet Daredevil Run

Select this challenge when the Prankster Comet appears.

With this comet star, you have to follow exactly the same procedure as with Who wants again? Who hasn't?' play. This time you have only one life point. Due to the relatively fair distribution of checkpoints not too much difficulty – provided you concentrate on the game.

Comet Medal

On the small brown planet with three Li’l Cinders, collect the medal over a lava pool. Clear a safe jumping line and grab it before taking the next pipe.

Green Stars — unlock requirement

Collect all 120 regular stars and defeat Bowser again to unlock the Green Star hunt. Choose the corresponding Green Star mission from this galaxy’s mission screen. Follow the detours below rather than collecting the normal mission’s ending star.

Green Star 1

In Mini-Planet Mega-Run, clear the Jack O’Goomba planet. Before entering its pipe, backflip onto the protective pipe shield, then backflip again into the star overhead.

Green Star 2

Continue the same mission to the Undergrunt planet. Clear the enemies, climb onto the shield above its pipe and use another backflip to collect the high star.

Green Star 3

At the Homing Chomp planet, use the shield over the normal Power Star as a ledge. Backflip onto it, then jump again into the green star above the ending area.

Check each numbered Green Star on the mission screen after collecting it. The routes finish immediately when the star is touched, including stars suspended over a gap.
