The Puzzling Picture Block
At the beginning of the mission, you will also land a planet made of cubes, in between a smaller square. There is not much on this planet, some Star Bits can be collected by triggering switches. If you want to get further, you have to put a ground pound on the upper side in the middle about on a sign, so that you land directly on the lower planet.
On the nearest planet are four ground-pound switches. If you want to activate the Launch Star, press the lower right button and the Launch Star appears.
Use the Launch Star to get to the next planet.
The next planet has two sides. On the upper side are two tree sticks, which you can press down using a ground pound and thus get some coins and Star Bits. Now go to the bottom, but be careful that the chainsaws do not deprive you of vitality. When you get downstairs, you have to trample down the platforms so that they appear on the other side.
If you’ve knocked down all the platforms properly, go to the other side and jump up to Launch Star.
When you reach the Launch Star, use it.
At the beginning there is a checkpoint. Go ahead, but avoid the chainsaws and hurry: the chainsaws saw through the platforms, so beware where you go, the platform could be cut at any time! Follow the path.
Comet Medal
The Comet Medal is located to the left of the path on a separate platform that is cut off. Get the Comet Medal quickly before the platform falls!
With the vertical wall, a chainsaw cuts so that the wall falls almost completely forward and gives you the way. At the next obstacle, a kind of “tower”, two chainsaws saw the way so that you have to use the wall jump if you want to get ahead. This time, however, the green, cut-out middle piece of wood remains so that you have a walk-in field below to make the wallspung easier. Once you’ve done that, move on, but hurry as chainsaws of the entire platform separate from you beforehand. Also take care of the bugs, but they rather go away from you, they should not be a big problem. Now keep following the path, but keep hurrying.
Soon you will come to the last part, including a Mandibug. Attention: In the Mandibug, the two outer parts of the platform are cut off and only the one with the Mandibug remains! Defeat this one or hurry! In the last part, the chainsaws are not activated by themselves, press the ground-pound switch and the Launch Star appears, but at the same time the chains sawing start to saw everything through. Hurry up to get to the Launch Star. Use the Launch Star immediately.
There is not much on the next planet. At the Lumalee you can buy a 1-Up Mushroom or a Life Mushroom for 30 Star Bits. Go to the checkpoint and use the Launch Star to get to the last planet.
On the last planet, you can discover a shifted image that you need to push together properly. Just to the right of the arrival point on the tamper mark, stamp three times for the part to fit. Now go on the side to the left. On the next stamp mark, stamp again three times. Now go again to the left to the last stamp and stamp there three more times. You do not have to go on the side and also solve the puzzle exactly in this order. Once you’ve done that, a Mandibug appears with a smaller Mandibug on its back. Stamp on the smaller one to defeat it, this works best because the Mandibug moves, with a spin: You rotate, simultaneously with the ground pound. Goals are necessary, but with a little practice it works. If you defeated the upper smaller one, the lower one gets angry and is now faster, again the special ground pound helps. When you defeat him, the star appears. Collect it.
Purple Coin Shadow Vault
Select this challenge when the Prankster Comet appears.
This mission is difficult, if you are not yet so good, you should do it later. In this mission you have to collect 100 Purple Coins in a dungeon on the third planet of the first mission. There is a difficulty: approx. 10 Cosmic Clones are running after you, which doesn’t make things any easier. In addition, you only have one minute. There is only one tactic. Go right or left and make the outermost row and work your way inside so that you don’t get in touch with the previous Cosmic Clones! Always collect all Purple Coins, if you forget which ones, you run out of time, if you want to collect any more, the Cosmic Clones run on top of you. So you have to do everything perfectly that you can collect all Purple Coins. When you have all of them, the Cosmic Clones disappear and you can collect the Power Star.
Bugaboom's Back
When you give the Hungry Luma on the third planet seventy coins to eat in the first mission, it turns into a new planet. The seventy coins you get together on the first planets, especially many you get in the tube on the third planet. When the Hungry Luma created the planet. Use the Launch Star that appears.
You land on a smaller planet. Collect the cloud flower and jump to the next planet using the clouds. Collect the next cloud flower and jump to the next planet again using the clouds. When you arrive on the main planet, a boss, perhaps already known to you, appears, the Mandibug King, who already made his first appearance in Super Mario Galaxy. This time you don’t have to be with Bee Mario, but with Cloud Mario. To have to defeat him by pounding him on the back again and again, three times. The first time is still easy, since he is still on the planet, but once you have met him, he starts to fly, which makes it more difficult to meet him. When he flies, he sometimes turns 90 degrees, just so you can’t hit him. For the last two hits, you need the cloud flower because it flies high above the ground. If you hit him a second time, he gets very angry and starts dropping bombs that explode after a short time. Do not go near these bombs. If you managed to meet him a third time, you defeated him and a Power Star appears.
