Saddle Up with Yoshi
At the beginning of the first planet, some obstacles such as Thorn weed. Avoid this to get to the main square. On this one, Yoshi is trapped in a bubble. To free Yoshi, you must defeat Magikoopa (jump on the head). When Magikoopa is defeated, the bubble dissolves and you can jump on the Yoshi egg to free Yoshi. Now you can ride with Yoshi. Yoshi is not slowed down by the mud, which is a big advantage.
Comet Medal
On the third carriageway, you have to jump on a wagon and wait until you are on the other side of the planet. This is where the Comet Medal is located.
To get further, Yoshi is necessary, because you have to go through mud and also jump. Mud is not a problem for Yoshi. Further along the way, you will soon arrive at a spot with some crystals with opponents, Star Bits, etc. »Teleporter The teleporter takes you back to another planet. But this time, as in the previous missions, there is no rainbow star, but only a Yoshi egg in the nest or only the nest, depending on whether you are already riding Yoshi or not. The Oktumbas can be defeated fastest by devouring them with Yoshi. Also this time, three 1-Up Mushrooms are waiting for you, if you make it within a time limit. To unveil the super-Launch Star that leads away from this planet, grab the fruit with Yoshi’s giant tongue and pull it away from the plant. Then the Launch Star appears. The Launch Star leads away from this planet.
The next planet is round, on it are every mange of crystals and a lucky cube, with which you can win either coins, Star Bits or a Goomba. In a crystal is the Launch Star. And then we go on…
The next planet resembles a planet from its predecessor. Getting up to the tower could be a bit difficult, but that can be done. But take care of the piranha plants and the thorny herb, unless you devour it with Yoshi. Arriving at the top, you have to use Yoshi’s tongue hanging along the flowers to get into the gravity field of another planet. On this is the next Launch Star.
The last planet resembles a tower. At the beginning there are some opponents, but also larger abysses. With these, you have to pull out platforms similar to drawers with Yoshi. The platforms that you can pull out, you can easily recognize. Further along the way, you get further and further up, you often have to pull out platforms, some opponents often prevent the progress.
Further up you quickly discover the Power Star. It is enclosed in a crystal, and the star is freed by the use of the twist twice. He can be brought a little further up then.
Spiny Control
The beginning is again very similar to the first mission of the galaxy, except that now some stachis are running around. Go back to the main square of the planet, liberate Yoshi on the way there, you need him later. Go to the main square. Then use Yoshi’s tongue to take stachis and throw at an object such as a glass dome.
The Launch Star is located in a glass dome, next to the elevation.
The next planet is smaller than the first, you have to manage to free the Luma in the middle glass dome. For this you need Spinies, who throws a lactitu. If you defeat one Lakitu, the next one comes immediately and the Lakitu is usually in the way when you throw a Spiny. Once you’ve managed to free the Luma, get close to you and thank him by turning into a Launch Star.
To get ahead, you need to find the trap door, which is marked by two headlights. Inside the planet, there are other gravity conditions. Go to the right and drop. During the fall, you can collect many Star Bits.
The next planet is a bit tricky, you have to pull out platforms with Yoshi like drawers again, the difficulty is that the drawers fold back in after some time.
At the next part of the planet, you have to destroy a glass dome using a stachi. However, a platform must be pulled out. Get out the platform, grab a stachi and destroy the glass dome that the Launch Star is in.
On the last planet, a boss fight takes place, for which you need Yoshi. The boss is called King Lakitu and is no longer as easy as the first in the Sky Station Galaxy. The goal is to shoot him down three times with Spinies, which he himself discards. After throwing the stachis, he floats over the platform, with the clouds he produces strong flashes that cost you health. So stay away. The first hit is easy, on the second hit it already easily avoids and on the third hit you have to throw precisely. Before the first hit he throws one, before the second two and before the third four stachis. Before the third he is very angry. After defeating him, you get a Power Star.
Spiny Rainbow Romp
Select this challenge when the Prankster Comet appears. This mission is a difficult one, because you have only 60 seconds to defeat 30 Spinies at the beginning and at the main square of the first planet using rainbow stars. A proper tactic is hard to explain, best of all, you do first the exterior and then the interior. But beware: There is no infinite number of rainbow stars on the planet! Use them sparingly and as soon as the music of the Rainbow Star gets faster, collect a new Rainbow Star. When you defeat all the Spinies, the star appears and time stops.
Comet Medal
Free Yoshi from the Magikoopa, then check the small hill to the left of the nearby fruit. Use Yoshi’s jump to reach the medal on top.
