The Sweetest Silver Stars
Grab the bee costume and fly to the right. Crawl up the hive before swinging up to the left with the swing. Hang on the flower and turn up to another swing. But first collect the Star Bits and the extra life. Also use the green tube where you will find three cubes. Finally climb up the hive, jump to the right and follow the path. Take care of the air bubbles that throw you back each time. It is best to fly them over with your bee costume.
Fly to the cloud and spin on the fluff so you float to the next platform. By shaking your Wii Remote, you gain further height. With the A-button you let go. Now you have the task to collect five Silver Stars.
The first one you will find right in front of you between two water fountains. Fly through it at exactly the right moment so as not to lose the bee costume. The second star is on the left of the rear platform. Fly from the water lily to the upper flowers and grab it. Then swirl forward with the flower upwards and you recognize the next Silver Star. Run straight out and hop on the little piece of grass. By wall jump you reach the nearest Silver Star below and the Comet Medal above. Go all the way up to where you meet the bee kings. On her back you will find the next and last star.
The Chimp's Score Challenge
After the invitation from the Chimp you have to crack one of his high scores again. Get at least 10,000 points for this star by jumping on the opponents and collecting coins. For each coin and opponent hit, there are 100 points. If you kill three enemies in a row without touching the ground, you get even 300 points. In these combos, there are the most points to pick up, so make sure to always turn off the opponents in series. If you do a spin in the air, you get a little more time to aim.
The majority of the points are to be picked right at the beginning after the centrifugal flower and on the summit. Here you can collect a question mark coin, which together with the appearing coins brings you a total of 1,800 points. Also, never run to isolated opponents, as this takes too much time. Focus only on the groups. With a little practice, you can get the star soon.
Comet Medal
After the floating flower lifts you, continue to the small grassy ledge on the main planet. Wall-jump up the narrow gap: the Silver Star is lower down, while the medal is above it.
Green Stars — unlock requirement
Collect all 120 regular stars and defeat Bowser again to unlock the Green Star hunt. Choose the corresponding Green Star mission from this galaxy’s mission screen. Follow the detours below rather than collecting the normal mission’s ending star.
Green Star 1
The star is behind the red balloon between the starting area and Honeyhop Planet. Take the Bee Mushroom and fly towards the balloon, or ride Floaty Fluff into position before releasing towards it.
Green Star 2
Climb Queen Bee’s body as Bee Mario. From near her face, push away and fly forward into the star hovering in front of her. Refill the flight meter on her surface before leaving it.
Check each numbered Green Star on the mission screen after collecting it. The routes finish immediately when the star is touched, including stars suspended over a gap.
