Prince Pikante's Peppery Mood
Jump quickly across the sinking platforms to the yellow one, which brings you to the grid with the cloud flower. Jump over the shock waves. Finally hop with the cloud flower to the red switch that turns everything into ice. Run back to the Launch Star and jump over the annoying shock waves as well.
Touch the Checkpoint Flag and cross the moving rocks. Shoot up the treasure chest in the middle platform to get an extra life. Run again and try to stay in the middle so you can grab the Comet Medal and finally use the Launch Star.
Touch the Checkpoint Flag and cross the ice. Take care of the appearing lava. On the right ice plate you will also find a Life Mushroom in a crystal. Shoot the green balls back by spin to defeat all the monsters and clear the way. Run quickly over the ice sheets to the Launch Star, because they disappear after a short time. Now follows the final battle against Prince Pikante.
Boss — Prince Pikante
He shoots many lava balls on you and every now and then a green ball, which you throw back by spin. It is best to stay in the skate run, so you are the fastest on the road and can dodge well. Sometimes he also wants to roll over you or shoot the stones into the air, which then crash on you like meteorites. Pay attention to the shadows. On the third hit, he finally gives up the spirit and you get a Power Star.
The Chimp's Ultimate Skating Challenge
This is a secret star!
Choose “Prince Pikant’s Peppery Mood” for this secret star and freeze the lava lake at the beginning. Behind the Launch Star is a green tube that you now use. The process is exactly the same, except that you now have to collect 600 points.
Octo-Army Icy Rainbow Romp
Select this challenge when the Prankster Comet appears.
For this comet star, you have to complete a total of 30 octos within 50 seconds. For this, use the numerous rainbow stars to be invincible and thus only push the enemies. Whenever you see one of these precious stars, you collect it to save yourself time-consuming return. After one or two attempts, you should have the Power Star.

At the far end of Magma Slice Planet, check beside the Launch Star before leaving for the skating area. Cross the moving stone platforms promptly so they do not carry Mario into a lava wall.
Green Stars — unlock requirement
Collect all 120 regular stars and defeat Bowser again to unlock the Green Star hunt. Choose the corresponding Green Star mission from this galaxy’s mission screen. Follow the detours below rather than collecting the normal mission’s ending star.
Green Star 1
After freezing the lava, keep the Cloud Flower and climb the now-frozen volcano. Use natural footing first and clouds for the last ascent into the star at its summit.
Green Star 2
Reach the end of Magma Slice Planet. Beside the 1-Up Mushroom, look to the right and jump towards the green star beyond the safe route.
Green Star 3
Carry a Cloud Flower all the way to the ice-skating section. Find the existing cloud with a 1-Up Mushroom, stand on it and create at least one additional cloud to reach the star directly overhead. Losing Cloud Mario before this point means returning for the power-up.
Check each numbered Green Star on the mission screen after collecting it. The routes finish immediately when the star is touched, including stars suspended over a gap.
