Fleet Glide Galaxy

Super Mario Galaxy 2 guide hub

Fluzzard's Wild Battlefield Glide

As in the Wild Glide Galaxy in World 2, you have to hang on the Tuku Glider again and survive the dangerous course. The whole thing is now much more difficult to cope with, especially at the beginning you will fly quite disoriented through the skies. Therefore, you will need several attempts to glide through all five gates to free the Comet Medal.

The first is located after the two lava monsters in front of the lowest hole on the green wall. To reach the second gate you have to fly very far to the left after the two walls during the sideways rotation. This is quite tricky at first. Behind the second stone block you will find the third gate. The fourth you have to pass in front of the falling pillar and the last gate is located at the bottom of the large room between two red steel beams. The Comet Medal itself can then be reached to the left of the large ship.

Fastest Feathers in the Galaxy

You can grab this star if you have received an invitation from Brief-Toad. Now you have to compete against a competitor and finish the level faster than him. For this you go as often as possible in the descent to reach the necessary speed. Otherwise, practice, practice, practice!

Comet Medal

Fly through all five comet-shaped gates during the battlefield glide. The medal cage in the final section then opens. Steer through it while avoiding the last cannons and airships.

Green Stars — unlock requirement

Collect all 120 regular stars and defeat Bowser again to unlock the Green Star hunt. Choose the corresponding Green Star mission from this galaxy’s mission screen. Follow the detours below rather than collecting the normal mission’s ending star.

Green Star 1

At the very start of Fluzzard’s Wild Battlefield Glide, dive immediately. The star is below the initial flight line; delaying the dive carries you beyond it.

Green Star 2

In the fourth section, watch the pillar falling on the left. Bank behind that pillar to reach the star, keeping enough clearance from the collapsing obstacle.

Check each numbered Green Star on the mission screen after collecting it. The routes finish immediately when the star is touched, including stars suspended over a gap.
