01: Our First Power Moon
This is the first Power Moon you’ll obtain. It’s initially located inside a rock near a prominent stone pillar in the starting area, which you must destroy by capturing a Chain Chomp. Afterward, you’ll find the moon on the pedestal.
02: Multi Moon Atop the Falls
This is the only Multi Moon in this land. It’s located at the island’s highest point, but it’s in the possession of Madame Broode. Defeat her by throwing the Chain Chomp at her to obtain the Multi Moon.
03: Chomp Through the Rocks
This Power Moon is located behind a wall of crumbling rock on the left, near the group of three Chain Chomps. You’ll need to capture a Chain Chomp or the T-Rex to break the wall and reach the Power Moon.
04: Behind the Waterfall
To get this moon, you first need to enter the 2D area that leads up the mountain. There’s a path leading off to the left about halfway through. You can reach it using an invisible question mark block.
The path now leads around the corner and from there is behind the waterfall; after a few coins, you get the moon.
05: On Top of the Rubble
This moon is located directly next to the Odyssey, on a rock.
06: Treasure of the Waterfall Basin
This power moon is located in a small cave by the waterfall pool, near the waterfall that leads to nowhere.
07: Above a High Cliff
This moon is located on the hill near the Chain Chomp, close to the Odyssey’s original location. You can reach it, for example, by using the Chain Chomp to destroy the crumbling rocks there, which will reveal a warp pipe. Use this pipe to get to the top of the hill.
08: Across the Floating Isles
For this Power Moon, you need to find the floating islands on the mountain. Go to the top where you fought Madame Broode and look around. You’ll see the floating islands at one point.
09: Cascade Kingdom Timer Challenge 1
Near the starting area, next to the waterfall pool, stands a scarecrow. Capture it to make platforms and the moon appear. Hurry to reach the moon within the time limit.
10: Cascade Kingdom Timer Challenge 2
On the mountain where you fought Madame Broode, there’s now another scarecrow. After you capture it, some blocks and a moon will appear above it. Get the moon!
11: Good Morning, Captain Toad!
Captain Toad is on a platform below the large mountain where Madame Broode was. Towards the T-Rex, there’s a platform with the Moonstone, and from there you can reach Captain Toad’s platform, which is a little further down. Play around with the camera a bit to find it.
12: Dinosaur Nest: Big Cleanup!
Near Power Moon 07 (on a ledge), there’s a hat door that leads to a cave with a T-Rex. Defeat all the Burrbos here to obtain the Power Moon.
13: Dinosaur Nest: Running Wild!
This Power Moon can also be found in the cave of Moon 12. Capture the T-Rex and reach a platform relatively far down where you can destroy some rocks. The Power Moon is located in one of them.
14: Nice Shot with the Chain Chomp!
To obtain this Power Moon, first take the left path along the cliff in the area with the three Chain Chomps. There’s a pipe there. Go inside and capture one Chain Chomp to launch the other Chain Chomps into the designated slots. Do this three times for the next Power Moon.
15: Very Nice Shot with the Chain Chomp!
Same location as Moon 14. Where you obtained the 14th Power Moon, there’s another path to the right where you can throw another Chain Chomp into the recess. The reward is the next Power Moon.
16: Past the Chasm Lifts
There’s a hat door you can enter by the stone bridge. It’s best to rotate the camera slightly to find it. Master the 2D section with the moving platforms and grab the moon.
17: Hidden Chasm Passage
After the first 2D section with the moving platforms, in the area below where the game continues, there’s a warp pipe that takes you to a 2D area with a Koopa. You need to use the Koopa to destroy a block in the wall on the right to open a tunnel, at the end of which is the Power Moon.
18: Secret Path to Fossil Falls!
This moon is located on a floating island that can only be reached through a painting in another kingdom!
If the Snow Kingdom was visited before the Seaside Kingdom, the painting is located near the starting area in the Snow Kingdom on a high cliff.
If the Seaside Kingdom was visited first, the painting is located in the Crystal Palace.
19: A Tourist in the Cascade Kingdom

If you met the Desert Wanderer in the Desert Kingdom settlement and then in New Donk City, you can now also find him in Cascade Kingdom. Talk to him, and he’ll give you a Power Moon.

20: Rolling Rock by the Falls
You can find a stone where the Odyssey lay. If you shoot it several times, a Power Moon will appear.
21: Peach in the Cascade Kingdom

Above the Fossil Falls you will find Peach, who will give you another Power Moon.
22: Cascade Kingdom Regular Cup
*Available only after completing the main story*
Win this race to receive another moon.
23: Caveman Cave-Fan
*Only available after the main story*
On the mountain you will find a Bonneter who would like to see a Stone Age person.
Put on the prehistoric human outfit in the shop and speak to Bonneter again.
24: Shopping in Fossil Falls
Buy (at least) one Power Moon from the Crazy Cap store.
25: Sphynx Traveling to the Waterfall

You’ll find a telescope next to the Odyssey. Search the sky for the flying Sphinx.
