01: Broodals Over the Lake
To continue the story, you must defeat the Broodals. From the Odyssey, head straight ahead and use the flower to jump onto the rock. Use the hat to unzip the path. Dive down into this section and follow the path until you reach a flag. Swim to the end, to the dome, and activate another flag at the Lake Lamode entrance. Leave the dome and swim to the very top, where you’ll find another hole. On the back of the pole, you’ll find a P-Switch that activates a water elevator. Once at the top, go left to the flower and fly to the air gallery. The battle begins on the terrace above. Dodge the rabbit and throw Cappy at its hat so you can use it as a trampoline to headbutt it. After three hits, you’ll earn three more Power Moons.
02: Dorrie-Back Rider
From the terrace, you can find Dorrie underwater. You’ll find a Power Moon on the blue creature’s back.
03: Cheep Cheep Crossing
At the checkpoint “ Underwater Entrance “ you’ll find a Cheep Cheep. Grab it with Cappy and swim to the surface. You’ll find a Power Moon in one of the six gaps.
04: End of the Hidden Passage
Find the checkpoint “ Courtyard “ (relatively near the beginning). There, after a small set of stairs, you’ll find a flower. Jump up with it and then grab the zipper with Cappy. The path to the Power Moon is now clear.
05: What’s in the Box?
Above the dome you’ll find a P-Switch. Activate it and then jump from the flower to the wooden crates. The Power Moon is hidden in one of them.
06: On the Lakeshore
Next to the Odyssey, you’ll find a glowing spot on the ground. Perform a ground pound there.
07: From the Broken Pillar
In front of the dome, you’ll find a broken pillar. Perform a ground pound attack here to make the Power Moon appear.
08: Treasure in the Spiky Waterway
In the underwater section from the starting point, you need to turn right after the first bend. You’ll find a chest containing the Power Moon there.
09: Lake Gardening: Spiky Passage Seed
In the same underwater section as Moon 8, you’ll find a seed right at the beginning on the bottom. Carry it to the flowerpot in the dome.
10: Lake Kingdom Timer Challenge 1
If you walk from the “ Courtyard “ checkpoint towards the water, you’ll find a scarecrow on a small island. Throw your hat at the figure and grab the Power Moon.
11: Lake Kingdom Timer Challenge 2
Right where the Broodals arena is, there’s a scarecrow after the boss fight. Throw Cappy at it and get the Power Moon.
12: Moon Shards in the Lake
In the large pool with Dorrie, you can find a total of five Moon Shards. Our pictures will help you get your bearings. Once you’ve found them all, you’ll have a moon.
13: Taking Notes: Dive and Swim
From the loading area, you’ll see a pool of water with a treble clef in it. Collect all the notes within the time limit to unlock the Power Moon.
14: Taking Notes: In the Cliffside
Approximately at the level of the “ Lake Lamode – Entrance “ checkpoint, there’s a pipe on the south wall that you can enter if you swim to the surface. Collect all the music notes here as well.
15: Lake Fishing
At the “ Courtyard “ checkpoint, there’s a small pond where a Lakitu is floating. Capture it and retrieve the largest Cheep Cheep from the sand.
16: I Met a Lake Cheep Cheep!
At the water’s surface, right at the entrance to the Water Plaza, you’ll see a Lake Kingdom resident on a small, circular island with a hole in the center. She wishes to see a Cheep Cheep. Capture one and swim into the ring of water to her.
17: Our Secret Little Room
A secret room is hidden on the lower level of the Lake Lamode. Look for a small gap behind the pillars (second from the right). There’s a hidden door on the left. Talk to the inhabitants for a Power Moon.
18: Let’s Go Swimming, Captain Toad!
There’s a fountain right in front of the “ Lake Lamode – Entrance “ checkpoint. Grab a Cheep Cheep and swim down to Captain Toad.
19: Shopping in Lake Lamode
You can buy the moon for 100 coins in the shop.
20: A Successful Repair Job
Travel south to the checkpoint “ Lake Lamode – Terrace“. Slightly below the water’s surface, you’ll see a dome with a small building. Throw in the Cappy door and align the second building component so it’s synchronized with the first to obtain a Power Moon.
21: I Feel Underdressed
Buy the swimming goggles (purple coins) and the swimmer outfit (ten coins) in the shop and go to the locked door south of the “ Lake Lamode – Shop Window „.
Show the villager your outfit to get to the wedding dress stand. Throw Cappy at it for a Power Moon.
22: Unzip the Chasm
To the right (north) of the “ Lake Lamode – Entrance “ checkpoint is a zippered panel you need to open. Behind it is a Cappy door. Complete the platforming level beyond.
23: Super-Secret Zipper
In the same area as Moon 23: After you’ve opened up the first area in the large space with the large T-piece, look from the created area towards the opposite wall. There you can see a kind of staircase.
Throw Cappy at the lowest point in the fog opposite to reveal secret blocks that will allow you to cross over. Once you’re on the other side, open the large panel first, then the small one to discover the Power Moon.
24: Jump, Grab, Cling, and Climb
Climb onto the roof of the Lake Lamode and look at the north wall. A few meters above you, you’ll see a recess with a Cappy door. You can reach it through the closed flower. Complete the course.
25: Jump, Grab, and Climb Some More
Same area as Moon 24. Once you’ve mastered the three fuzzy groups using the upward-moving, orange platform, stand on the narrow upper side of the platform and let it ride you all the way up to a closed flower. Use this to reach a chest containing the Power Moon further up.
26: Secret Path to Lake Lamode!
As in every world, there’s a moon in Lake Kingdom that you can only access by jumping into a painting in another level. However, which painting you need to jump into depends on whether you visited Wooded Kingdom or Lake Kingdom first.
a) If you were in Lake Kingdom first, you must be washed over by one of the fountains in Coastland into the large, central water tower, at the bottom of which you will find the corresponding painting.
b) If you were in Wooded Kingdom first, you must use the painting on a platform below the Odyssey in Metro Kingdom.
These moons can be found after completing the main story.
27: Found with Lake Kingdom Art
The Lake Kingdom signage on the stairs northwest of the Odyssey leads you to Cascade Kingdom, more precisely to the fossil remains directly at the Odyssey.
The limb directly next to the Amiibo Toad is missing from the clue art. You need to perform a ground pound here.
28: Taxi Flying Through Lake Lamode
Grab the binoculars near the Odyssey and look towards the moon. Against the bright light, you’ll see a taxi flying on a balloon.
29: That Trendy „Pirate“ Look
Buy the pirate hat for 50 gold coins and the pirate outfit for 150 gold coins in the Lake Kingdom shop and equip them. Speak to the Lochladies of Lake Lamode. You’ll receive a Power Moon as a reward.
30: Space Is „In“ Right Now
Buy the astronaut helmet for five and the astronaut outfit for ten purple coins in the Moon Kingdom shop and equip them. Speak to the Lochladies of Lake Lamode. You’ll receive a moon as a reward.
31: That „Old West“ Style
from the Sand Kingdom shop and put them on. Talk to the Lochladies in Lake Lamode. You’ll receive a Power Moon as a reward.
32: Lake Kingdom Regular Cup
Near the green Koopa near the Odyssey, you can start the first Lake Kingdom Race. Your goal is to reach the arena where you also had to race against the Broodal. However, the stairs on the west side are gone for the duration of the race, so you’ll have to use the tunnel. Therefore, immediately run towards the wall in front of you and open it using the zipper.
Swim quickly through the underwater tunnel (ZL + Y), capture a Cheep Cheep at its end, and swim with it to the bottom of the pool. Climb up there (either via the water elevator in the upper area or the flower on the southern surface), and you’re almost there. Just a few more meters and the podium is yours.
33: Peach in the Lake Kingdom
Princess Peach can be found at the spot where you fought the Broodals after the main story.
