In Hat Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey, you’ll find 50 purple coins. The list guides you through all the coin categories and shows the quantity of each. Select the area you’re currently searching from the table of contents.
How to use the location list
The numbers are a counting aid for this guide, not official in-game numbers. A single line can contain multiple coins. Therefore, compare the locations with your collection, not the running number with the in-game display. Directions refer to the map view.

If you are still missing coins
- Return to Cascade Kingdom: You cannot complete this collection during your first Prologue visit.
- You’ll need a captured flying Goomba to reach the remote Hat Islands. Also search under the overhangs.
- In the tower, the frog will help: Jump up over the question mark blocks at the entrance. In the poison wave room, fly through the opening under the exit when the poison level is low.
