Squirps‘ urgent toilet emergency
After travelling through space, you and Squirps land on the small planet Blobulos. There is much less gravity here, which is why Mario, Princess Peach and Bowser can jump much higher than usual.
Squirps urgently has to go to the toilet and flies to the toilet house on the right. However, the cabin is already occupied. Knock on the door and talk to the unknown resident. He cannot leave the toilet because he ran out of paper.
Your first task is therefore to find somewhere on Blobulos suitable paper.
Run from the toilet house to the right. Get used to the unusually high jumps. In the first question mark blocks are a coin and a mushroom.
Shortly after, she passes a locked door, which lies in a deeper pit. Remember their position, because you only need it at the end of the chapter.
In the following pits you should regularly switch to the 3D view. Behind the seemingly smooth walls, small stairs are often hidden, over which you can get back up.
On your way, you will also pass a striking statue consisting of two stone heads stacked on top of each other. Above the statue, a small crack in the room flickers. You also have to remember this place for later.
Drop into the next larger pit to the right of the statue and switch to the 3D view. There you will discover a valuable Ultra mushroom mix that restores 50 strength points.
Then climb up again and follow the path to the right end of the section. A large number of stone blocks block access to the door there.
Set Boomer down next to the blocks and blow them up. Alternatively, you can destroy some of the blocks with Thudley. Once the door is fully exposed, you go through it.
Hidden paths through the rocks
In the next section, use the Save Block first. Then jump to the first raised lead to the right of it and switch to the 3D view with Mario.
In the rock face you can see a very narrow gap. Equip Slim, make Mario paper thin and slip through the opening.
On the other hand, you can press a switch that makes an additional platform appear. This will make it easier for you to get back up in the future.
Then move to the right. A question mark block on the lower path contains a tempo flower. Switch back to the 3D view to see several hidden steps behind the rocks.
Climb up the steps and switch back to the 2D view. Jump on the green warp pipe and follow the path to the right.
On the way you reach a green front door. The inhabitant only gives you a hint and is not important for the conclusion of the chapter. In the house, however, you can track down an invisible block with Tippi.
Leave the building and move on to the right. As soon as the path ends in front of a rock face, you switch back to the 3D view. A narrow bridge leads laterally into the background and through the middle of the mountain.
Follow the walkway until you return to the foreground behind the rock. Then climb up the mountain and jump into the green warp pipe at its top.
In the hidden tube room numerous coins are waiting for you. Also switch to the 3D view there to discover additional coins and hidden blocks.
Then return through the warp pipe and drop right from the mountain. Through the door there you reach an optional adjoining room with opponents, coins and some question mark blocks.
After collecting everything, you leave the room again and follow the main path to the right.
Jump into the next deep pit and switch to the 3D view. In the rock face there is again an opening through which you reach the other side. Climb right up and enter the door.
With the Megastern over Blobulos
In the following section, four question mark blocks are next to each other. Strikes counted from the left against the fourth block. There is a megastar in it.
Once you collect the star, the active character turns into a huge 8-bit version. Run quickly to the right and roll over all opponents, blocks and obstacles.
At the end of the section you go through the next door.
In the following area is a particularly high green warp pipe. Before you jump up, you should switch to the 3D view with Mario.
Behind the warp pipe lies a hidden space food. This item restores 50 power points in space, but only 10 power points outside of space.
Then jump on the warp pipe and from there to the green door on the right. Enter the house and talk to the old alien Blappo.
Blappo claims to know the way to a great space treasure. For his point, he first demands a completely exaggerated sum:
1,000 coins.
Reject the offer. Blappo then lowers the price:
100 coins.
Reject this offer as well. Only now does he offer you his hint for merely:
10 coins
an. Accept the third offer and you will receive the scroll.
On the scroll is a hint of a secret treasure. For now, however, you need them for a much less glorious purpose.
Pixl Fleep and the Hidden Key
Leave Blappo’s house and walk back the entire way. You must return through the Megastar section, through the hidden paths in the rocks and to the toilet house at the beginning of the chapter.
Knock on the door again and hand over the scroll to the resident. The supposedly valuable document is simply misused as toilet paper.
Shortly after, the Pixl Fleep finally leaves the toilet house and joins your group. As a result, Squirps can now also use the toilet.
Fleep’s ability lets you flip certain cracks and markers in the game world. Often hidden objects or switches come to light. If your fleep is used on an opponent, he will also be confused or stunned for a short time.
Run right back to the statue with the two stone heads stacked on top of each other. Right above the heads, the crack flickers, which you could not examine before.
Stand under the mark and use Fleep. He turns the crack and a door key falls out.
Take the key and jump from the statue to the left. Carefully drop from level to level until you reach the locked door in the pit again.
Open it with the door key and walk through it. In the last room you will only encounter some smaller opponents. Fleep can numb them, but you can also just skip them.
At the right end, the star block is already waiting. Jump against it to close chapter 4-2.
With Fleep and Squirps, the journey continues in chapter 4-3 to the mysterious gates of space.
