Chapter 7-2: The Sealed Doors Three

Super Paper Mario guide hub

In the dark to Lasse Einar I.

Go right through the door and you land on the dark Underwhere Road. Luvbi flies ahead and shows you roughly where the way up.

Since you have not yet found Bowser, you cannot light the torches in this section. Therefore, follow Luvbi’s lights and examine the environment with Tippi if necessary.

First jump against the question mark block and work your way up the narrow platforms. Stand one by one in the three red transport fields. They each take you to the next level.

After the third transport field you should not jump further up immediately. Let yourself fall to the right on the lower edge and open the chest there.

It contains the Dark Boo card No. 093. Through them, you will cause double damage in all Finster-Buus in the future.

Switch to Luigi and use his super jump to return to the main route. Continue climbing until you are in front of a sealed door.

The door does not respond at first. Point the Wii at the screen and examine it with Tippi. This awakens Lasse Einar I.

He only lets you pass if you answer his three questions correctly. Select the following answers in the German version:

1. Queen Jaydes 2. Leave Einar I. 3. 2400

After the third correct answer, Lasse Einar I opens the door. Go through and use the Save Block in the next room first.

Bowser is back.

To the right of the Save Block, three D-mons guard several doors. Talk to the first guard and offer to eliminate the alleged monster in the right room.

Go through the door and walk to the right. The dangerous monster turns out to be Bowser.

Bowser believes Mario and Luigi have hidden Princess Peach from him. Before the misunderstanding can be cleared up, he challenges you to fight again.

How to defeat Bowser

Bowser has a spiky tank. Therefore, do not jump directly on his head or back, as you hurt yourself.

His most dangerous attacks are:

Fire Breath: Bowser spews a wide wall of fire forward. Stay away or jump over it in time.

Jump Attack: He jumps up and tries to land on you. Run under him to change sides.

Onslaught: Bowser runs through the room and then stops for a short moment.

The safest tactic is Boomer. Drop the bomb off Bowser and lure him into the explosion. Especially after an onslaught or landing, he remains long enough to be safely hit.

Piekso is also helpful. Activate his protective barrier just before Bowser touches you or hits you with his fire breath. The sign fends off the attack and can hurt Bowser at the same time.

With Cudge you can also attack, but should withdraw immediately afterwards.

Repeat the attacks until Bowser ends the fight. After the conversation, he realizes that you are also looking for Princess Peach and joins the group again.

Return to the D-mons. As a reward, you will receive a door key. Open the locked middle door.

With Bowser’s Fire Through Darkness

The following tower is again almost completely in the dark. Now you can use Bowser.

Change to him and light the torches on the walls with his fire breath. The light lasts only for a limited time, so you should always light new torches on the way up.

Climb over the narrow platforms and avoid the Finster-Buus as well as the bone opponents. Bowser’s fire breath can quickly eliminate many of the opponents.

Some of the spirits become invisible as long as you look at them directly. Turn your back for a moment and attack as soon as you reappear.

On the right side of the tower you will discover a green warp pipe. It leads into an optional coin room. Jump in and collect as many coins as possible.

The coins disappear after a short time. Therefore, start immediately and do not try to target every single coin.

After that, return through the Warp Pipe and continue your ascent. Luigi helps you to reach particularly high platforms directly with his super jump.

At the top is the second sealed door. Examine her again with Tippi so that Lasse Einar II. appears.

The memory test of Lasse Einar II.

Let Einar II. set you five tasks. On several screens, colored shapes appear for a short time, the number, paint and movement of which you have to remember.

In the well-known German sequence, the answers are:

1. 3 2. 2 3. Blue 4. 4 5. Triangles

The fourth answer is always 4, because Lasse Einar wants to know which number has the current question.

But still, look at the shapes carefully. Depending on the score or sequence, individual representations may differ.

After passing the test, the second sealed door opens. Go through it.

Hagra and the Missing Diet Book

In the next area you will see several doors. Enter the pink door with the hearts on the far left.

Behind it reside the three witches Hagra, Hagitha and Hagzissa. For the further course you need the order of the far right Hagra.

Talk to her and accept her request. Hagra has lent her diet book to a D-Mon and wants it back.

She then automatically teleports you to the D-Mon who owns the book. Talk to him and take the diet book.

Unfortunately, you have to travel the way back yourself. Run back through the already visited rooms, passes Lasse Einar II and climbs again through the dark tower.

Give Hagra the diet book. As a thank you, he gives you another key.

The orders of the other two witches are not necessary for completing the chapter.

Leave the witch room and open the locked door next to the pink entrance with the key.

The Road to the Third Sealed Door

In the next dark section, you will need all three brothers or abilities:

Bowser ignites the torches with his fire breath.

Luigi reaches the high platforms and stairs with his super jump.

Mario avoids the rolling barbed blocks in the 3D view.

Run right first and use Luigi to get to the higher platforms. Keep jumping until you reach the first long stairs.

On the steps, large barbed blocks roll down. Switch to the 3D view with Mario and walk past them sideways.

Once you arrive at an apparent impasse, you switch back to the 2D view. Switch to Luigi and make a super jump to reach the second stairs above you.

There, too, barbed blocks roll down. Again use Mario’s 3D view to safely avoid them.

At the top is the third sealed door. Fill up your strength points if necessary and switch to Bowser now.

Examine the door with Tippi. This makes Lasse Einar III appear.

He does not ask you questions. Instead, you have to prove that you are strong enough for The Overthere.

Miniboss: The Chain Gang

Lasse Einar III. calls the chain gang. It consists of three different colored chain dogs.

The fight is depicted in the style of a classic turn-based role-playing game. You and the chain gang alternately attack and select your actions from a menu.

Bowser is the best character for this fight, as he has the highest normal attack power.

Select Pixl in the menu and use Thudley against one of the chain dogs. Focus your attacks completely on one enemy before moving on to the next. This reduces the number of enemy attacks per round as quickly as possible.

If you own the optional Pixl Piccolo, you can use it to put the three chain dogs to sleep. Then attack the sleeping enemies with Thudley or a normal Bowser attack.

If you have not yet unlocked Piccolo, the fight is still good to do. Heals Bowser in time with a mushroom mix if his strength points drop too far.

The three chain dogs have different colors, but playfully you can defeat them in any order.

Once the last chain dog is turned off, Lasse Einar III declares the exam passed and opens the third sealed door.

Go through it and jump right against the star block. This concludes Chapter 7-2 and the ascent to The Overthere begins.
